Likes
- I like the greenery of the college. It has many green lawns in the campus.
- I also like the sports facilities in the college. It has a cricket ground, football ground, basketball court, volleyball court and many other sports infrastructure.
Dislikes
- The canteen of the college is small and not too hygienic
- The computers in the labs are too old and some of them don't function properly.
Remarks :
I have given the CUET- UG test conducted by NTA and i was allotted this college as per my marks and preference. I have scored 767/800 and the cutt off for this course in this college was 763 for general in the year 2023
Course Curriculum Overview :
I was curious to know more about finance and I am also pursuing CA so I selected this course. The curriculum is good. It is as per the NEP. Exams are conducted between December- January and May- June every year.
Internships Opportunities :
I have not opted for internship opportunities with my college. PWC is offering a role of Tranfer pricing intern for a CA article. Also there are many other companies offering sales intern and management intern.
Placement Experience :
There are many placement and internship opportunities in the college. We have placement cell which actively bring companies to recruit students. Companies like Deloitte offers Audit assistant role at a package of 7 lakhs per annum.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee for first year is 16000rs For second, third and final year it is 15500 per year. And the fourth year is optional. There are not any other charges than the annual fees. It also has a scholarship for financially weak students where they get the refund of fees paid. Other than that many companies also provide scholarship schemes to students.
Campus Life :
Ramjas annual fest is Mosiac and it is probably conducted in the month of April every year. It has a huge library with a number of books of different subjects being present there. It also has extracurricular activities with societies and clubs and also encourage sports by organising competitions. there are numerous clubs such as Enactus, Consulting Group, Finance Cell etc
Hostel Facilities :
I have not opted for hostel but have visited it. The first year students are allotted hostel as per their CUET- marks and the subsequent years allotment is as per the CGPA of students. The food in the hostel is descent. It also has a small gym .

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog

PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.

Placement Experience :
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
