The University of Delhi has released the interview schedule for PhD admissions in the Department of Education for the 2024-25 academic session. The interview dates are January 7-10, 2025.

Documents Required For PhD Admission

Candidates must bring the following original documents to the interview at the University of Delhi:-

  • Research Proposal: 7 copies (back-to-back printouts recommended)
  • Identity Proof: Voter ID, Aadhaar, Driving License, Passport, or Government-issued ID
  • Date of Birth Verification: Class X certificate
  • Master's Degree: Marksheet and Degree in Education
  • Grade-to-Percentage Conversion Proof (if applicable)
  • M.Phil. Degree (if applicable): Marksheet and Degree in Education
  • Reserved Category Certificate: SC/ST/PWD/EWS/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), EWS and OBC certificates must be issued on or after April 1, 2024
  • JRF/NET/Ph.D. Admission Certificate (as applicable)

Important Notes for PhD Candidates

Candidates are required to read the following guidelines about PhD Interviews:-

  • Research Proposal Defense: Candidates must defend their proposed research title and area during the interview. Any changes will result in disqualification.
  • Eligible Candidates List: The list of eligible candidates will be uploaded on the department's website (cie.du.ac.in). Candidates are responsible for checking updates.
  • No Personal Intimation: No individual notifications (email, WhatsApp, etc.) will be sent.
  • Eligibility Verification: Candidates found ineligible during document verification or at any later stage will have their application cancelled.
