This list comprises the top 2% of highly-cited scientists across diverse fields, recognising their significant contributions. Notable individuals from KIIT, such as Padma Awardee Dr. Subrat Kumar Acharya, Dr. Yogesh Chawla, and esteemed Gastroenterologist Dr Anil C. Anand from the School of Medicine, have earned their places in this prestigious ranking.

Joining the esteemed list are individuals like Suresh Chandra Satapathy, Rabindra K. Barik, Siddharth Swarup Rautaray, Sushruta Mishra, Subrat k Acharya, Hrudaya Kumar Tripathy, Tarasankar Pal, Purna Chandra Mishra, Vikas Hassija, Kshirod K. Jena, Ashok Kumar Sahoo, Dindyal Mandal, Swarup Kumar Nayak, Trupti Mayee Behera, Bhargav Appasani, Mona Pathak, Ashish Singh, and Chandan Mohanty.
