Times Higher Education Young University Rankings for 2024 have ranked KIIT Deemed to be University to the 11th position in India. It is a notable achievement in its academic rankings as it demonstrates KIIT’s continuous commitment and improvement to excellence in higher education.

The 20 year old, KIIT Deemed to be a University has outshone several IITs which are old and established institutions. This is a significant achievement as the youth of the institution compared to others have been educational pillars for about half a century.

KIIT was placed in the cohort of 151–200 globally in the rankings of last year. However, the global rank of KIIT has improved to 168 in the current year. KIIT has been placed in the elite top echelon of young universities as 55 Universities were from India out of 673 universities worldwide. The Times Higher Education Young University assesses the Universities that are the best in the World and are 50 years old or younger based on: knowledge transfer, teaching, research, and international outlook.

KIIT has risen in the rankings due to its dynamic academic practices and innovative educational approaches. The method of education is holistic and emphasizes the overall growth of a student.
