The placements drive 2023, was a milestone for KIIT University. A total of 750 plus companies offered 6200 jobs for 5000 eligible students from the School of Technology, School of Management (KSOM), School of Rural Management (KSRM), School of Biotechnology (KSBT), and School of Law (KLS). The campus placement drive witnessed a significant jump in the average pay package for the 2023 graduating batch. The average CTC crossed INR 8.2 lakh and the highest CTC touched INR 63 lakh. KIIT falls under the top National Institutes in terms of pay offered to the students in the campus placement.

KIIT was founded by eminent educationist and social activist Prof. Achyuta Samanta. In 1997, it became an institution of higher learning. Since then, it has set new records in terms of placement in all academic programs, irrespective of the macroeconomic and job market. It was. The government of India declared it a Deemed-to-be University in 2004, and after that, KITT has been working hard on redefining professional education in the country and setting benchmarks in teaching pedagogies and research outputs.

KIIT University is ranked by many institutions from India and Abroad. The Indian Education Ministry’s NIRF India Rankings 2022 have placed it as the 16th best university in the country and accredited with the highest A++ Grade by NAAC. In the Prestigious Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2024, it ranked in the cohort of 601-800 globally. It is accredited by the IET, UK, and ABET, USA for the academic programs of the School of Technology.

In the KIIT School of Technology, a total of 450 plus companies offered 5200 jobs for more than 1800 students. About 2000 were Dream Offers with an average CTC of INR 8.20 LPA. Capgemini made the maximum of 302 offers followed by Bosch Global Software Technologies with 242 offers.

The School of Technology witnessed a significant hike in the pay package offered to the students this year. Yugabyte offered the highest CTC of INR 63 LPA, whereas more than INR 30 LPA was offered by companies like Amazon, Atlassian, LightBeam, etc. The CTC of INR 5 LPA plus was offered by more than 155 companies, wherein 47 companies offered CTC

ranging from INR 15 LPA to INR 25 LPA The companies are Cisco, Philips, ION Group, Razorpay Software (P) Ltd, Kickdrum, Silicon Labs, Schlumberger, ZS Associates, Dell Technologies, BCN, ITRON, Commvault, VmWare, etc.,

For the core branches of the School of Technology, the CTC ranges from INR 5 LPA to INR 10 LPA and was offered by more than 50 companies like TVS Motors company, JSW Energy, Volvo Group India, Samsung Heavy Industries India, Royal Enfield, ArcelorMittal, Nippon Steel India, Tata Chemicals, Dalmia Cement, Ashiana Housing, Afcons Infrastructure, Tata Power, Schneider Electric, Fiat India Automobiles, etc. About 60 companies made more than 1500 paid internship offers for the students and the highest 1269 internship offers were made by Highradius.

In the School of Management, around 140 companies visited with 360 plus job offers for placements of MBA and BBA students and 98.05% placement was recorded for the School

Rehlat offered the highest CTC of INR 22.75 LPA and the average package was INR 9.50 LPA. Companies like Khimji Ramdas, Alien Group, Tata Communications, Hevo Data, and Trinamix offered more than INR15 LPA.

The KIIT School of Biotechnology (KSBT) was visited by 40-plus companies and recorded an 89% placement during the on-campus placement drive. Nestle offered the highest CTC of INR 7.00 LPA, while the average CTC was INR 5 LPA. The CTC of more than INR 5 LPA was offered by companies like Elucidate, GSK Pharma, Enzene Biosciences, Intas Pharmaceuticals, and Himalaya Wellness Company.

The KIIT Law School was visited by a total of 65 Law Firms and Companies and 81% placement was made on an average pay package of INR 5 LPA. DFDl (International) made the highest CTC offer of INR 21.00 LPA and Bharucha & Partners (Domestic) offered a CTC of Rs 13 LPA. Companies like Wadia Ghandy & Co, Ernst & Young LLP, LORM Immigration Services LLP, HDFC Ergo GIC, and Royal Sundaram General Insurance offered CTC ranging from INR 6.00 LPA to INR 10.00 LPA.

A Total of 60 companies have visited for the batch size of 133 students visited KIIT School of Management (KSRM) and 96% placement and an average CTC of INR 5.50 LPA was recorded in this school. Avanti Finance made the highest offer of package INR 9.50 LPA. A CTC ranging from INR 6.00 LPA to INR 10.00 LPA was offered by companies like Nestle-India, Bigbasket, Bharat Financial Inclusion Limited (BFIL), BISK Farm, TechnoServe India, Mahindra Finance.

The placement drive 2023 is recorded as the best-ever placement in KIIT University, It added to the joy among students of the institute and their parents. Every year, KIIT facilitates the academic placement of 500 students in reputed national and international institutions.
