A strong academic foundation has been demonstrated once again by KIIT Deemed to be University, which has ranked 12th among Indian universities, and is among the elite 150 to 200 of young universities around the world ranking published by Times Higher Education

KIIT has been ranked 13th among Indian universities and 147th in Asia in the Times Higher Education Asia University Ranking 2023.

A number of factors were considered in determining the Young University Ranking, including teaching quality, research output, citation impact, international outlook, and industry income.

The academic accolades KIIT has received have allowed it to now stand on par with established and long-standing institutes in India that have existed for over 50 years despite being the institution is only 25 years old and the university is only 19 years old.

Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2022 rank KIIT University as the 8th best university in the world for its commitment to reducing inequalities.

The outstanding performance of KIIT in this ranking is due to its proactive initiatives and creative approaches to reducing inequalities.

In the NIRF India Rankings 2022, which were released by Dharmendra Pradhan, Union Education Minister on 15th July 2022, the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) Deemed to be University was ranked 20th best among all public and private universities in the country.

KIIT-DU has improved its ranking in this annual national ranking exercise from the 21st position last year.As a result of the prestigious ranking, different schools of KIIT also did exceptionally well.
