  • PhD Full Time: Under Institute Fellowship with Teaching Assistantship cum scholarships
  • PhD Full Time: External Fellowships like JRF / DST Inspire etc.
  • PhD Part Time: Employed / External
  • PhD Part Time: Project Staff

NIT Jalandhar PhD Admission Key Points

  • Candidates admitted under the SC / ST / OBC / EWS category have to produce the original category certificate at the time of admission.
  • OBC / EWS Certificate should be issued on or after April 01, 2024, in the appropriate format.
  • The candidates are required to deposit the fee through Online Mode.
  • The documents of all the provisionally selected candidates will be checked by the individual departments during physical reporting.
  • The candidates whose result of the qualifying examination is awaited will be given provisional admission after filling in an undertaking that they shall submit the result by March 31, 2025, failing which their admission will automatically stand canceled.
