The leading National level Technical Bonanza of the country - Connectech - which sees the highest number of participations in technical contests all across India came back to Bihar this year. UEM Jaipur organised the competition and challenged all the schools and their students to participate in winning the Champions' School Trophy on 30th November 2023.

The biggest inter-school technical competition among the top schools of the district - CONNECTECH (UEM Technical Bonanza) by University of Engineering and Management (UEM), Jaipur/Kolkata at Railway Community Building, Near Railway Flyover, Sikar and Vigyan Park, Shastri Nagar Jaipur) was organised.

Inter-School Technical Competition – CONNECTECH (UEM Technical Bonanza) The program was formally inaugurated by the Vice Chancellor of the University of Engineering and Management (UEM), Jaipur, Prof. Dr Biswajoy Chatterjee, Registrars Dr. Pradeep Kumar Sharma, Krishanu Banerjee, Suman Chakraborty, Prof. Ravindra Manju. It was done by lighting a lamp in front of the idol of Mother Saraswati.

University Deputy Director Project Sandeep Kumar Aggarwal said that in the inter-school technical competition -CONNECTECH (UEM Technical Bonanza), Jaipur's Maa Vidya Niketan Senior Secondary School, Bal Vishwa Bharati Public Senior Secondary School, Rajshree Senior Secondary School Jaipur, Cambridge School, Government Senior Secondary Schools Water Works Jaipur, Mayur Convent School Jaipur, Sri Bhavani Niketan Senior Secondary School, Raj Shree Public School, Gyan Vihar Academy, S.B. In Senior Secondary Schools, SSG Pareek Public School, NVM Academy School, Red Rose English School and of Jaipur/Sikar including St. Paul's School of Sikar, Aman Senior Secondary School, RNA Group of Schools, Surbhi Senior Secondary School, Navjyoti Senior Secondary School, Vardhman Senior Secondary School, Islamia Senior Secondary School, LBS Senior Secondary School etc. Science students from all top schools participated.

In the programme, the UEM Kolkata/ Jaipur felicitated Bal Vishwa Bharti Public Senior Secondary School, Jaipur and Vardhman Vidya Vihar Senior Secondary School, Sikar for best performing in Inter-School Technical Competition-CONNECTECH (UEM Technical Bonanza). But Champion School, Bridge School of Jaipur and Aman Senior Secondary School of Sikar were rewarded with the title of runner-up school for the year 2023.

It saw the participation of 1000+ school students from leading schools of Bihar, and also from other states. The programme consisted of National Inter-School competitions (listed with the winners list):-

• 3rd prize winner - Sona Vashist, International School (ICSE)

Pythagoras Star (Maths Competition for classes 9 and 10)

• 1st prize winner - Abhinav Raj, St. Michael's High School
• 2nd prize winner - Anish Kumar, Blue Bells Academy
• 3rd prize winner - Ashutosh Kumar Pandey, Christ Church Diocesan School

Pythagoras Pro (Maths Competition for class 11 and 12)

• 1st prize winner - Masood Shahid, St. Michael's High School
• 2nd prize winner - Akshita Sinha, St. Michael's High School
• 3rd prize winner - Wahib Khan, International School (CBSE)

Nirmana (Science Model Competition)

• 1st prize winner - Swastika Shree and Tanushree Verma, St. Michael's High School

The Champion School Trophy was won by St. Michael's High School and The Runner-up Trophy was won by the International School (ICSE).
