ICAR AIEEA PG 2026 mop-up and final-round seat allotment letters are available from October 23, 2026, at 11:00 AM onwards. The round is for postgraduate courses in agriculture and allied sciences, except veterinary courses, and for PhD courses in all streams. Candidates can check the allotment through the ICAR counselling portal using the Applicant Login.
What ICAR has released
The latest notice on the ICAR counselling portal asks candidates to log in and download the allotment letter for the mop-up/final round. The letter will show the seat and university offered to the candidate. It may also include the provisional admission letter when the candidate completes the required steps on the portal.
This round followed fresh choice filling from October 19 to October 21. It is the final mop-up stage listed in the 2026-27 PG and PhD counselling schedule. Candidates should read the letter carefully because the next steps and the time limits are different from the choice-filling dates.

Who can take part in this round?
The revised public notice dated October 17 says that candidates who registered for ICAR PG or PhD online counselling 2026 and downloaded their merit rank cards can be considered in the mop-up/final round, subject to the listed conditions.
The PG part covers courses other than the veterinary stream. The PhD part covers all streams named in the schedule. The revised notice also says that a candidate who had already secured admission or had voluntarily withdrawn an allotted seat up to the fourth round cannot be considered in this round.
For the qualifying degree or the Provisional Degree Certificate, the notice gives October 2, 2026, as the cut-off date. A degree or PDC issued after that date is not considered for the mop-up/final round.
What happens after a seat is shown?
First, download the allotment letter and check the details against your choices. The allotted university will check the documents online. If it raises a query, upload the corrected or missing document before the resubmission deadline on October 24.
After the document stage, pay the seat acceptance fee within the time shown in the official schedule. The university reporting deadline is 8:00 PM on October 24. Keep the payment receipt, allotment letter and every document copy together for reporting.
The portal schedule lists no later PG mop-up round after this stage. Candidates who receive a seat should therefore follow each time limit instead of waiting for another allotment window.
