In light of the public holiday declared on 27th December 2024 by the Karnataka Government, following the unfortunate demise of former Prime Minister of India, Hon. Dr Manmohan Singh, the Karnataka NEET PG Counselling 2024 process has undergone a significant update. This extension aims to ease the inconvenience caused to candidates who were allotted seats in the 2nd round for the PG-Medical course.
New Deadline for Fee Payment: 30th December 2024
The Karnataka NEET PG Counselling 2024 authorities have extended the deadline for fee payment for all candidates allotted seats in the 2nd round. The new deadline for submitting the required fees is now 30th December 2024, until 4:00 PM. Candidates are advised to complete the payment before the deadline to avoid any complications in the admission process.

Reporting to Colleges by 31st December 2024
Candidates who have paid their fees are required to report to their respective colleges before 5:30 PM on 31st December 2024. It is essential for all candidates to ensure timely reporting to secure their admissions.
Seat Cancellation Option with Penalty Fee
In addition to the extended fee payment deadline, candidates who wish to cancel their allotted seat in the 2nd round of Karnataka NEET PG Counselling 2024 can do so by paying a penalty fee. Candidates who opted for clinical courses will incur a penalty of Rs. 1.50 lakh, while those who selected pre-clinical and para-clinical courses will be charged a penalty of Rs. 10,000. The last date to request seat cancellation with the applicable penalty is 30th December 2024.
This extension and cancellation option aims to provide candidates with sufficient time to make informed decisions regarding their admissions.
Candidates participating in Karnataka NEET PG Counselling 2024 should ensure that they complete all necessary steps, including fee payment and reporting to the assigned colleges, within the revised deadlines. Furthermore, those considering cancellation should be aware of the penalty charges and adhere to the deadline of 30th December 2024.
