The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala has issued a notification regarding the second round of stray vacancy allotment for Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, Siddha, Unani, and Medical Allied Courses. This phase aims to fill vacant seats in Government and Self-Financing colleges following the completion of the first round of stray vacancy allotment.

Key Highlights:

1. Eligibility and Registration:

  • Candidates included in the revised Kerala State Medical Rank List are eligible to register new options.
  • Registration for fresh options is open until November 21, 2024, at 11:59 PM through the official CEE website under the "Stray Vacancy Option Registration" menu.
  • Candidates who have already been allotted or joined seats in earlier phases or are deemed ineligible as per AACCC's list dated November 12, 2024, cannot participate.

2. Registration Fee:

  • General candidates: ₹10,000
  • C/ST/OEC and candidates from Sree Chitra, Juvenile, or Nirbhaya Homes: ₹500
  • Registration fees will be adjusted against tuition fees for those allotted seats or refunded if no allotment is made. However, penalties apply for candidates who fail to join or withdraw after admission.

3. Fee Structure:

The tuition fee for 2024-25 in self-financing colleges is yet to be finalized. Provisionally, candidates must pay the fee applicable for 2023-24, with any revisions payable later.

5. Guidelines:

  • Candidates should select only those colleges and courses where they intend to study.
  • Seats allotted during stray vacancy cannot be changed later.

Any remaining vacancies after this phase will proceed to a third round of stray vacancy allotment. However, candidates who withdraw or fail to join after allotment in this phase will be disqualified from participating further.
