KIIT Ranks No.1 Private University in Odisha in QS World University Rankings 2026

KIIT Deemed to be University has made a big mark by becoming the No. 1 private university in Odisha in the QS World University Rankings 2026. It also ranked 9th among India’s top private universities and made its global debut in the rankings with an impressive spot.

This is the first time KIIT has taken part in the QS World University Rankings and it has done incredibly well. The university also secured the 55th position in South Asia in the QS Asia University Rankings, showing how fast it is rising on the global stage.

These rankings are based on several important factors like academic reputation, job opportunities for students, student-teacher ratio, research quality, number of international students and faculty, global research partnerships, and sustainability efforts.

Dr. Achyuta Samanta, Founder of KIIT & KISS, expressed his happiness, saying, “This is the result of our continuous hard work in academics, social service, and global outreach. KIIT may be just 21 years old, but we’ve achieved more than many older universities. I thank all our teachers, staff, and students for making this possible.”
