Parul University Wins FICCI Jury Award for Excellence in Globalisation

Parul University has been conferred with the Jury Award for Excellence in Globalisation at the 19th FICCI Higher Education Excellence Awards 2024. The award is granted for the university’s strong focus on international collaboration and global learning which is in line with the vision of India’s National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

The FICCI awards institutions that are making a significant difference in higher education across India. This year, Parul University received recognition for its strong efforts in building international opportunities for both students and faculty through exchange programs, global collaborations, and high-quality academic experiences.

Over the years, the university has partnered with top global institutions, offering students a chance to study abroad, participate in internships and also oppurtunity to attend international summer schools. It has sent over 1,000 students and faculty members abroad and welcomed more than 500 international participants to its campus.

Under its International Distinguished Professor initiative, foreign professors visit the university to teach, collaborate on research, and share global insights with students. The university also runs various semester and short-term programs that allow international students from countries like Spain, Germany, and Italy to study and earn credits in India.

Dr. Preeti Nair who is the Director of the Center for International Relations and Research (CIRR), said, “We are proud of this recognition and will continue to focus on preparing our students for a global future. International experiences help them grow not just academically, but personally as well.”

This award marks another step in Parul University’s journey to build a globally connected education system and foster a campus environment that supports learning across cultures.
