The TS PGLCET counselling process for LL.M admissions has officially commenced. The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has released a detailed notification for the second and final phase of web counselling, providing crucial dates and instructions for eligible candidates seeking admission to LL.M courses across law colleges in Telangana for the academic year 2024-25.

Dates To Remember
According to the official notification, the following are the important dates for Phase II counselling:

Who Should Participate In Phase II?
- Who secured a seat in phase I of web-based counselling and wishes to move to some other college?
- Candidates who participated in phase I of web-based counselling and could not secure a seat.
- Candidates who did not participate in phase I even though he/she has been called for counselling.
- Candidates who were allotted a seat but didn’t report.
- A candidate was allotted a seat in phase I but cancelled his / her admission.
However, the candidates may note that,
- Options exercised for the first phase will not be considered for the second phase of counselling.
- Candidates have to exercise options fresh options for each phase of web-based counselling.
- In case, if they are satisfied with the previous allotment, options need not be exercised again.
- Options may be exercised for those colleges even if the vacancies are not available, as vacancies may arise due to sliding, cancellation and conversions.
If the candidate secures a seat in Phase – II, he/she will lose the claim on the earlier allotted college and has to report to the new college by downloading the allotment letter on or before the date furnished in the allotment letter. Failing to report within the date furnished in the allotted college, the candidate will forfeit the claim on the new college as well as in the old college.
TS PGLCET 2024 Counselling Eligibility
- Candidates must be of Indian nationality and meet the local/non-local status as per government rules.
- Must have passed the LL.B or BL degree from a recognized university.
- Non-local candidates are eligible for only 15% of the unreserved seats
Document Verification And Web Options
Candidates are required to upload scanned copies of essential documents, such as the PGLCET rank card, LLB degree certificate, residence certificates, and category certificates (if applicable), for online verification. Once verified, candidates can access the web options portal to select their preferred colleges
Seat Allotment And Reporting
The list of provisionally selected candidates will be announced on October 30, 2024. Candidates must download their allotment letter and report to the allotted colleges with the necessary original documents and tuition fee payment challan between November 1 and November 5, 2024.
Guidelines For Candidates
- Candidates who have already attended Certificate Verification in the First Phase can directly exercise web options for the second phase of Counseling as per the schedule.
- This notification itself is a call for web counselling. No separate call letters are sent to the individual candidates.
- Mere attending web counselling does not guarantee a seat.
