Directorate General of Medical Education and Training, Uttar Pradesh, has released the schedule under UP NEET UG 2024. The schedule is for Special Stray Vacancy Round-3 starting from 23 December to 30th December, 2024 including numerous processes.

UP NEET Counseling 2024: Important Dates

Eligibility Criteria for Participation

  • Only candidates already registered in the Special Stray Vacancy Round but without seat allotment can participate.
  • This step can be completed by the candidates who could not deposit their registration fee and security money in time to join this round within the stipulated time.
  • Candidates who have taken allotted seats in any round of UP NEET Counseling 2024 are not included in this special round.
  • Eligibility criteria are to be verified by candidates according to the UP NEET UG 2024 norms.

UP NEET 2024 Counselling Process

The steps of UP NEET Counselling process are mentioned below:

  • Registration: Candidates need to register themselves on the official website of UP NEET https://upneet.gov.in/. Only one-time Registration is required for all the rounds of the UP NEET Counselling Process. Candidates need to pay a counselling fee of INR 2000 for registration which can be paid through any online mode of payment.
  • Payment of Security Money: After completing the registration process, candidates need to pay refundable security money. This amount of security money differs from college to college or from private colleges to government colleges in Uttar Pradesh. This security money is to be paid via Demand Draft in favour of the “Director General, Medical Education & Training, UP”, payable at Lucknow.
  • Document Verification: After successfully depositing the security money, the candidate needs to report to the required centres for document verification within a stipulated time.
  • Choice Filling & Locking: After completing the documentation process, candidates need to revisit the official website for Choice Filling and Locking of preferred colleges of UP. This process has to be completed before the allocated time, only then their application will be considered for the UP NEET Counselling Process. After this, based on the seat availability and marks scored in the exam, the seat allotment list will be released for the selected candidates.
  • Final Reporting to the Allocated College: After the release of the UP NEET Seat Allotment list, candidates need to report to the allocated college with all the required documents within the stipulated time.
