UP NEET Counselling 2022 will tentatively start in September 2022. UP NEET Merit list contains the candidates’ names who have successfully completed the counselling process. Applicants who have qualified the NEET Cut Off are eligible for the counselling process.
- Once the merit list is released, candidates can complete the choice filling process.
- UP NEET Counselling Fee is INR 2000 which can be paid online.
- UP NEET Counselling is conducted for 85% state quota seats and 100% private college seats of MBBS/ BDS courses of medical and dental colleges of Uttar Pradesh.

UP NEET Counselling 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfil the following requirements to be eligible for UP NEET Counselling:-
- Candidates should have passed the 12th board examination from a recognised institution in Uttar Pradesh.
- Candidates must have registered for NEET 2022.
- Candidates need to produce the “General Resident Certificate” in the prescribed format as and when required for documentation.
- The candidate must be 17 years of age.

Educational Qualification
For becoming eligible for the UP-NEET Counselling, candidates need to qualify 12th with compulsory subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology. The educational qualification is tabulated below for different categories of candidates:

UP NEET Counselling Procedure 2022
UP NEET Counselling follows some particular steps which a candidate needs to follow to successfully register herself/himself for Counselling. The steps are:
- Registration: Candidates need to register themselves on the official website of UP NEET https://upneet.gov.in/. Only one-time Registration is required for all the rounds of UP NEET Counselling.
- UP NEET Counselling fee of INR 2000 for registration which can be paid through any online mode of payment.
- Payment of Security Money: After completing the registration process, candidates need to pay refundable security money. This amount of security money differs from college to college or from private college to government colleges in Uttar Pradesh. This security money is to be paid via a Demand Draft in favour of the “Director General, Medical Education & Training, UP”, payable at Lucknow.

- Document Verification: After successfully depositing the security money, the candidate needs to address the required centres for document verification within a stipulated time.
- Choice Filling & Locking: After completing the documentation process, candidates need to revisit the official website of UP NEET for Choice Filling and Locking of preferred colleges of UP. This process has to be completed before the allocated time, only then their application will be considered for the UP-NEET Counselling Process. After this, based on the seat availability and marks scored in the exam, the seat allotment list will be released for the selected candidates.
- Final Reporting the Allocated college: after the release of the Allotment list, candidates need to report to the allocated college will all the required documents within the stipulated time.
