Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board is conducting Bihar MBBS Counselling 2024. BCECE has postponed the Bihar NEET UG counselling 2024 Round 2 seat allotment. The new schedule has been released on the official website bceceboard.bihar.gov.in. Round 2 seat allotment result has been released on October 7, 2024. The reporting and document verification deadline for round 2 counselling is October 9, 2024. Candidates can resign through free exit by October 10, 2024.

Bihar MBBS Counselling 2024 is conducted by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) based on the scores obtained in the NEET Exam 2024. Note that, the state counselling for Bihar is also called Undergraduate Medical Admission Counselling (UGMAC). Before the commencement of the NEET counselling session, the Bihar MBBS merit list 2024 will be released by the authority. Only those candidates whose names are included in the merit rank list will be eligible for the counselling process for seat allotment in Bihar.

Am I Eligible For Bihar MBBS Counselling 2024?

The Eligibility Criteria for MBBS admission are given below.

Domicile Bihar domicile Must be a bona fide resident of Bihar and should have passed Classes 11 & 12 from an institute located in Bihar.

What Is Bihar NEET UG Counselling Process?

The Counselling process in Bihar will be conducted by the authorities of BCECEB. Admission to MBBS and BDS courses in various government and private colleges in the state will be provided via state-level counselling based on NEET scores.

Given below are the stages of Bihar MBBS Counselling for your reference.

The BCECEB will get the merit list from the National Testing Agency (NTA) of the applicants who chose Bihar NEET counselling 2024 when completing their entrance exam application forms.

Candidates who meet the requirements and want to participate in the counselling process must check the application form on the official website of the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board.

Registration

  • Visit the BCECEB’s official website to register for the counselling.
  • Fill in your email address and mobile number to receive the “Activation Code.
  • To activate the account and continue with the application, enter this code.
  • The user ID for the account will be the email address used for registration.

Fill The Application Form

  • The applicant must provide the required information in this section, including their parents’ names, contact information, etc.
  • Save the application form as a draft after finishing each step.

Upload The Required Documents

To continue, the candidate must upload scanned copies of the following:

  • A passport-sized photo with the candidate’s name and the date it was taken at the bottom.
  • Signature of the candidate (complete name; no capital letters).

Academic Data

  • Keep the mark sheets from Classes 10 through 12 ready to complete this part.
  • They must include information about the school where they received their Classes 10 through 12 certification and their grades and percentages.

  • Preview the application form to check all your details before final payment.
  • The candidate’s information on the application form must be accurate.

Make The Counselling Fee Payment.

  • Pay the counselling fees to participate in the counselling process. This fee is non-refundable.
  • For more information, please refer to the payment methods listed below:
  1. Candidates can pay for the counselling fees at any branch before the deadline.
  2. Payment via bank challan.
  3. Printing the bank challan is required and must be deposited with the counselling fees.
  4. Within 24 hours, the payment status will be published online.
  5. Candidates can also pay the counselling fee online using a debit card, credit card, or net banking.

Note - Once the application form has been filled out, the candidate must save and print the document for later use.

What Is Bihar MBBS Counselling Fees?

The category-wise details of the application fee required to pay for counselling are given below.

Choice filling

  • The next step in the counselling process is a choice filling.
  • Candidates registered for counselling must log in to their accounts and select the chosen programs or colleges from the available list.
  • Until the window ends, the candidate may alter or modify these as desired.
  • Based on these selections and the candidates’ merits, BCECEB will create the seat allocation list.

List of Seat Allotments

  • Before the choice-filling deadline, BCECEB will make a sample seat allocation list available to the public.
  • Based on their selections, the applicants will then be informed which college or course they will be assigned.
  • After the choice-filling session closes, they will release the final seat allocation list.

Document Verification Slot Booking

  • Slot booking will be made for those who have been given a seat in the counselling and wish to proceed.
  • Steps to Fill Choices are given below.
  1. Navigate to the official BCECEB website.
  2. Click on the registration link for Bihar NEET UG Counselling 2024.
  3. Input the necessary details and proceed to submit.
  4. Fill in your choices.
  5. Review the entered details and submit.
  6. Download the confirmation page for future reference.

Round 1 Seat Allotment

  • Check the seat allotment result online on the designated date.
  • Accept and Report: If you accept the allotted seat, report physically to the designated reporting centre for document verification within the specified timeline.
  • Upgrade: If you opt to upgrade for Round 2, choose "Yes" during document verification. Remember, this decision is final, and you cannot leave the upgraded seat if allotted.
  • Free Exit: You can choose to take a free exit if you don't wish to join the allotted seat or opt for an upgrade.

Round 2 Seat Allotment

  • This round offers fresh choice filling for eligible candidates who didn't get a seat in Round 1, those who took a free exit, or those with upgraded choices.
  • Follow the same procedure as Round 1 for reporting and document verification if you're allotted a seat.
  • After joining the round 2 allotted seats, the candidate will not be eligible to participate in any further round of counselling.

Mop-up Round and Stray Vacancy Round

  • These rounds address unfilled seats from previous rounds.
  • Mop-up is conducted offline, requiring fresh registration and participation.
  • Stray Vacancy round happens online if seats remain vacant after Mop-up.
