What is the Eligibility Criteria for Nagaland NEET Counselling 2024? 

If you who wish to apply for Nagaland NEET Counselling 2024, you will have to fulfil the following eligibility criteria:

  • Clear NEET 2024 Cut Off 
  • You should satisfy the lower age limit of 17 years and there is no upper age limit for applying to state counselling.
  • You should compulsorily belong to the state of Nagaland to apply and should also have valid address proof.
  • Non Indian Nationals are also eligible to apply, provided they have all the documents and approvals from the concerned authority. Non-Indian Nationals like Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), Foreign Nationals, Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs), and Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs) are eligible to apply. 
  • You should have cleared the 10th as well as the 12th exams with prescribed marks in total and major subjects according to you category. 

Nagaland NEET Counselling 2024: Reservation Guidelines

The reservation for the allotment of seats followed in the state of Nagaland as directed by the DTE, Nagaland are as follows:

  • 85% of seats in any entrance-oriented course admissions are kept open to all categories of candidates.
  • People with Disabilities (PwDs) are provided with 15% of seat reservations in any entrance-oriented course admissions.
  • Community-wise reservations might be applicable for mark relaxations; however, it is not declared by DTE, Nagaland.

How to Register for Nagaland NEET Counselling 2024? 

Nagaland NEET Counselling Process 2024 consists of the following 5 steps:

Step 1: Online Registration

  • Visit the official website of the DTE, Nagaland to register and submit your NEET Result 2024 after satisfying the cut off requirements for the year 2024.
  • You should also fill in your education details and professional details as asked. 

Step 2: Document Verification

  • You should submit your education details along with the supporting documents as prescribed by DTE, Nagaland. 
  • The documents like the 12th Mark sheet, 10th Mark sheet, State Domicile Certificate, and Caste Certificate need to be kept ready for document verification.

Step 3: Online Choice Filling

You need to fill your course and institution preferences by keeping in mind the reservation and rank secured. Be sure to fill in as many alternatives as possible.

Step 4: Seat allotment

  • After filling in your preferences, Nagaland NEET seat allotment will done. 
  • If you are allotted a seat in round 1, you will be issued with provisional allotment letters once you freeze it.
  • If you are not alloted a seat allotted in round 1 or wish to upgrade the allotted seat, you can choose to appear in the 2nd round. 

Step 5: Reporting at the centre

  • Once you accept and receive the provisional allotment letters, you will have to report to the institution within the last date mentioned in the allotment letters.
  • You need to carry all the educational and other documents in original to complete the document verification. 
  • Then, you need to pay the fees prescribed by the allotted institution. 
  • Finally, you will be admitted into the institution. 

Documents required for Nagaland NEET Counselling 2024 

The documents that are needed for Nagaland NEET Counselling 2024 and while reporting to the allotted institution are given below. 

  • 10th Mark sheet along with its Certificate.
  • 12th Mark sheet along with its Certificate.
  • Birth certificate.
  • State Domicile Certificate.
  • NEET Admit Card 2024.
  • NEET Scorecard 2024.
  • Provisional Allotment Letter issued by DTE, Nagaland.
  • Government Issued proof of Identity like Aadhar card, Pan Card, and Voter ID card, etc.
  • Economically Weaker Section (EWS) certificate if needed.
  • A minimum of eight passport-sized colour photos. Candidates need to submit the same passport size colour photo that they have submitted while applying to the NEET exam 2024. 
  • Physically Handicapped (PH) Certificate if needed.
