Changes that can be made during NEET UG 2025 Correction Window

You can make a number of changes to the NEET 2025 application form depending on the type of document provided during the registration process. Check below for the same. 

For Aadhar verified candidates: 

• Father's or Mother's name (anyone)
• Category along with a certificate
• Sub-category (PwD)
• City of NEET 2025 exam 
• Medium/Language of NEET 2025 paper 
• Educational Qualification including passing year of Class 11 and 12 
• Correction of uploaded documents, that is, scanned photograph, signature and other certificates (if applicable)

Note: You will not be allowed to change your name, date of birth and gender. 

For non-Aadhar verified candidates: 

• Candidate's name or Mother's name or Father's name (anyone only)
• Category along with certificate
• Sub-category (PwD)
• Date of birth and gender 
• NEET 2025 exam city
• Medium/Language of NEET 2025 paper 
• Educational Qualification including passing year of Class 11 and 12

What cannot be changed during NEET correction window 2025?

Although NTA grants permission to make a number of vital changes in cases of any error during the NEET registration form, you cannot make changes to the following: 

• Registered phone number 
• Email Address 
• Residential Address both present and permanent address. 

Steps to Follow for NTA NEET Form Correction 2025

NTA provides the facility of making corrections in the NEET UG 2025 application form after taking into consideration the mistakes students might make while filling up the form owing to their first time, confusion or simply because of hurry. You must however ensure that the information you provide during the NEET form correction window is absolutely correct as no other facility will be provided after this. NTA allows a smooth NEET form correction through its online candidate portal. You can make the necessary corrections by following a few simple steps mentioned below: 

• STEP 1: Visit NEET 2025 official website – neet.nta.nic.in
• STEP 2: Click on the registered candidate login link 
• STEP 3: Login using your credentials – NEET 2025 application number and password 

• STEP 4: Once the candidate dashboard appears, make changes/edits in any of the following fields you want such as gender, exam centre, category, and medium of paper among others. 
• STEP 5: Once the changes are made, click on Preview to check for any errors. All changes made will be displayed in red colour. Proceed further by entering the OTP received on the registered mobile number. 
• STEP 6: Click on the ‘final submit’ button. A pop-up window will appear stating that NEET form correction is a one-time facility and no changes will be entertained thereafter. Accept the message. 
• STEP 7: The corrected NEET application form 2025 will appear on the screen. Download it in PDF format for future use. 

Note: As NTA NEET 2025 application form fee varies per category, in case you’ve made a change in your category, you will be required to pay the difference through online net banking/ debit cards, etc.

Can I make corrections to the uploaded images? 

All those candidates who have uploaded incorrect images, that is, scanned photographs and signatures, will be notified by NTA 2025 via SMS and Email to make corrections to these during the NEET application correction window. Some major points to consider while reuploading images are as follows:

• Make sure the photo uploaded is of recent times, at least not older than 6 months.
• You should not be wearing any accessories such as caps or hats in the uploaded image 
• The background for the photo should be white
• The signature is done on a white sheet of paper
• Lastly, properly go through the NEET 2025 document uploading guidelines released by the authorities to avoid unnecessary mistakes. 

Process after NEET Form Correction 2025

After the NEET form correction window closes, the NEET 2025 admit card will be released on the official website bearing your test city, centre and all the relevant details related to the paper. Only those candidates who have provided true and correct information including name, image and documents will be able to download. Make sure you’ve made the corrections according to the guidelines prescribed as the NEET admit card 2025 is a mandatory document required to sit for the exam.
