Eligibility requirements for Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV) programs as follows:

  1. B.Tech - Pass 10 +2 with 45% aggregate marks (40% for reserved category)
  2. MBA - graduate degree with minimum 50% aggregate marks(45% aggregate for reserved category)
  3. B.Pharma - Pass 10 +2 with PCM with 50% aggregate marks
  4. B.Arch - Pass 10 +2 with Mathematics with 50%aggregate marks
  5. M.Tech - BE/ BTech in the relevant stream with 50% aggregate marks
  6. M.Pharma - BPharm with 55% aggregate marks

There are different scholarships provided for VIT students and each has different Criteria. Some of them are mentioned below.

  • VITEEE Scholarship under GV School Development Programme (GVSDP): Scholarships are given to the rank scored in VITEEE in the first year of the program and are continued on the basis of the criteria mentioned in the award letter issued during admission.
  • Smt. Rajeswari Viswanathan Memorial Scholarship: Scholarships given to meritorious candidates from an economically weak background who satisfy the criteria specified in the application.
  • Merit Awards for NRI and Foreign students: For the top 10 students of each branch of a program from 1st to final year with a record of 75% above attendance and no history of arrears, also do not violate the university's code of conduct. 
  • Cent percent Attendance Awards: Students who maintain a record of 100% attendance 
  • Sports Scholarship: For the students with great records and performance in various sports.
