NEET Reservation criteria have been passed by the candidates and now it accepts candidates only to get the benefit of 27% OBC & 10% EWS reservation under 15% AIQS in the NEET counselling process. The NEET Reservation policy’s update will benefit 2,700 OBC and 550 EWS students. NTA and MCC have published the new OBC quota/ reservation. Previously the 27% reservation in 15% of AIQ seats was only for OBC candidates but from this year OBC-NCL candidates can claim OBC reservation in NEET 2022 too.

According to this, 10% reservation in jobs and education will be approved for the EWS candidates who belong to the General quota candidates. Persons who are not covered in the scheme of reservation for SCs, STs, and OBCs and their families should have an annual income within Rs 8 lakh and are only recognized as EWS for the benefit of reservation.
