The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Guwahati, Government of Assam, will conduct Assam NEET counselling. Assam NEET counselling 2022 process will begin after the release of merit list.

Assam NEET Counselling 2022: Eligibility Criteria
Candidates taking the Assam NEET MBBS/BDS Counselling 2022 must meet certain eligibility requirements. Candidates that do not meet any of the listed criteria will be disqualified from the process.
Nationality
- The applicant should be an Assam citizen.
- Candidates' parents must have spent at least 20 years in Assam.
- The above condition will not apply to the sons and daughters of All India Services officers stationed in Assam.
Academic Qualification
- Applicants must have passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English in 10+2 with 60% aggregate marks and for the SC/ST(P)/ST(H)/OBC/MOBC candidates, the minimum required marks are 50%.
- The candidate must have taken and passed the NEET 2022 exam.
- The applicant must have studied from class 6 to 10 in the state of Assam.
Age
- Candidates’ age must be between 17 and 24 years old.
- For SC/ST Candidates: There is an age relaxation of 3 years.
Assam NEET Counselling 2022: Application Form
The Assam NEET MBBS/BDS Counselling application form will be accessible online on the official website. The following are the procedures that candidates must take to complete the Assam NEET Counselling Registration:
- Visit the official website: dme.assam.gov.in.
- Then, Click on the “MBBS/BDS Counselling 2022” link.
- Click "Apply Now" after reading all of the instructions.
- Fill in all the required credentials like personal, academic, address and others.
- After that, candidates have to upload the scanned image of their signature and photograph.
- The photograph should be between 35 Kb and 20 Kb in size.
- The signature should be between 30 and 15 kilobytes in size.
- The signature and photos should be in either.jpeg or.jpg format.
- Click the "Submit" button after you've double-checked your information.
- Candidates must print the e-challan and deposit the required fee in any State Bank of India branch after successfully submitting the online application form.
- It is also recommended that candidates must take a printout of the Assam MBBS/BDS 2022 application form for future reference.
Assam NEET Counselling 2022 Application Form Fees
- Candidates will be required to deposit an application fee of INR 1240 (plus bank charges of INR 60) on the second working day following the successful submission of the application form.
- After paying the fee, the applicant will receive a copy of the challan.

Assam NEET 2022 Counselling: Reservation of Seats
As per the Government of Assam reservation guidelines, the selection in Assam NEET MBBS/BDS Counselling 2022 will be divided into five categories, namely OC, SC, ST (Plains), ST (Hills), and PH reservations. Candidates who fall into the above-mentioned categories are guaranteed a seat. The remaining 60% of seats are available to unreserved applicants. Candidates who are requesting a reservation under particular categories must produce the original documents to support their claim.
