What's New In Chhattisgarh NEET Counselling 2025?
Directorate of Medical Education is conducting Chhattisgarh NEET Counselling 2024. The Directorate of Medical Education (DME) Chhattisgarh has initiated the Special Stray Vacancy Round 3 of NEET UG 2024 for Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) admissions. The choice filling process begins on 12th December 2024 at 10:00 AM and will continue until 13th December 2024. This round aims to fill the remaining vacancies after the completion of Special Stray Round 2. Here are the detailed schedule, guidelines, and seat matrix for the round.
To participate in Chhattisgarh NEET counselling, you need to qualify NEET 2024 cut off. After NEET result 2024 is announced, a state merit list will be prepared. If your name comes on it, you will be eligible to sit for the counselling rounds. DME, Raipur will allocate 85% state quota seats for MBBS and BDS courses across the colleges in the state. In Chhattisgarh, there are roughly 1565 MBBS seats (including government/private and presumed) and 332 BDS seats.
- The counselling will be conducted in 2 rounds. Further mop-up rounds will take place only if seats remain vacant.

Eligibility Criteria for Chhattisgarh NEET Counselling 2024
Chhattisgarh NEET Counselling eligibility criteria is given below:
Nationality
- If you have Indian citizenship or have OCI (Overseas Citizens of India), you are eligible to participate.
- If you have a Chattisgarh domicile status, you are eligible to take the entrance exam under the state quota.
Age Criteria
The age criteria are the same as that of NEET. If the candidate is eligible for NEET then he is also eligible for Chattisgarh NEET counselling. The minimum limit must not be less than 17 years as of December 31st, 2024.

Chhattisgarh NEET Counselling Registration
Candidates who want to participate in the Chhattisgarh NEET counselling must first register on the DME's official website. The following are the steps for registering online:
- Visit cgdme.co.in.
- Register with a valid email address and phone number.
- Fill out the application form completely and accurately.
- Choose a security question and a password.
- Before submitting the application form, double-check it.
- Pay the Rs 1,000 registration fee.
- The login ID and password will be issued to the email address provided at registration.
Choice Filling
After completing the registration procedure, candidates must submit their course and college preferences for the Chhattisgarh NEET counselling 2024. They must first check in to their official internet account and make their selections. Candidates should be aware that they will only be allowed to fill out the options once. As a result, kids are instructed to select as many options as possible. They must also keep in mind that after choices have been submitted, they cannot be modified.

Tie Breaking Criteria in Chhattisgarh NEET Counselling 2024
The tie-breaking procedure will be carried out when the NEET 2024 results are released. The procedure began when more than two candidates received the same score on the admission exams. The tie is broken using the procedures outlined below.
- When a candidate receives a high mark in Biology, their overall score will be taken into account.
- Equal marks in Biology and Chemistry will be counted, and priority will be given to the subjects in this order.
- If two applicants have the same score in Biology and Chemistry, their date of birth will be considered, and the older one will be given first priority.
