UPTAC counselling candidates need to be proactive at this stage to not miss the deadline for the admission process:

• Choice Filling and Locking: From January 9, 2025, candidates can change their choices for Round 2 and lock them on January 11, 2025. Log in to the official UPTAC portal on the official website – uptac.admissions.nic.in - for choice filling and modification
• Seat Allotment: The seat allotment results for Round 2 will be published on January 13, 2025. Candidates will know if they have been allotted their preferred seats based on the choices filled.
• Submit Willingness and Pay Seat Confirmation Fee: Once the seat allotment is released, applicants have to exercise their "Freeze" or "Float" option between 13th to 14th January 2025. The seat confirmation is confirmed through the payment of fees, which are mandatory for holding the allotted seat, The last date for fee payment is January 14, 2025. The seat confirmation fee is as follows:
  • General/OBC applicants: ₹20,000
  • SC/ST applicants: ₹12,000
• Withdrawal and Refund: Candidates who wish to withdraw within the stipulated time frame between January 13 and 14, 2025 are eligible for a refund:
