Who can take part
According to the official stray-round instructions, the following candidates may participate if they meet the other eligibility rules:
- NEET UG 2026-qualified candidates who did not get a seat in the first, second or third round.
- NEET UG 2026-qualified candidates who did not register in the earlier Uttarakhand rounds.
Candidates cannot take part if they have already completed admission through an earlier Uttarakhand or MCC round. A candidate who was given a Round III seat but did not report and complete admission is also excluded. The October 13 notice says such a candidate can lose the security deposit and cannot join later counselling rounds.
Fresh registration and choice filling
Earlier choices do not carry forward. Every candidate who wants to be considered in this round has to complete the required online form and submit a new order of college choices. The official instructions also say that a choice must be submitted within the notified time; an incomplete form will not be considered for allotment.
Candidates who had already paid the earlier registration and security amounts may have a different payment step. The schedule says the security fee need not be paid again if it was not forfeited. Read the amount shown in the official login before making a payment.
What to do after the result
HNBUMU has scheduled the stray-round allotment result for October 22. Candidates should check the official portal and their login for the allotment notice. If a seat is allotted, complete the college's reporting, document check and fee steps by October 26.
Do not list a college only as a backup if you would not join it. The official notice warns that failing to report after a Round III allotment can lead to security-deposit forfeiture and exclusion from later rounds. The stray round is the last round mentioned in the schedule, so candidates should read the college fee and joining conditions before locking choices.
What to do next
- Open the official HNBUMU NEET UG 2026 portal and check the latest notice or result.
- If you have an allotment, confirm the college fee, documents and reporting time with that college.
- Finish joining and fee payment by October 26, 2026.
- Keep a copy of your application, payment receipt, choice order and allotment page.
- If the portal shows a problem, use the helpline listed on HNBUMU's official portal during working hours.
