Remarks :
As I was very familiar with stitching from my mom and designs and stitches for myself then started the quest for different courses when I was in 9th then found out about NIFT. And it was a dream. There are entrance exams. There are two entrance exam categories for the bachelor program 1. bachelor of Fashion Technology which needs a science background 2. Bachelor of design where background doesn't matter. Then later I took the Bachelor of Design exam. I had no idea there were two exams. I wanted to be a fashion designer. For the written exams there are two different levels one is GAT ( general ability test ) - which includes, English GK Maths, science logical thinking etc.2. CAT(creative ability test)which is for sketching and drawing. Both these tests will be done on the same day. you will be shortlisted for the next round situation test.- there will be hands-on experience with different materials. you get selected and allocated to different campuses and departments. coz of my rank I ended up in accessories design.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I had a taste in making different products as well that's why I took the course. The faculties are not bad. considering the other departments in the college. Accessories design has the best faculties. If we open up our problems related to academics or personal life they will surely help us. There is some kind of exam pressure ( jury ) Coz we will be making each product or project for each subject within 4 or 5 months which is like a nightmare sometimes. But once we get used to it. It feels nice.
Internships Opportunities :
Yeah after the 3rd year, there is an internship program for 1 month and then after 7 th sem for the whole 8 th sem we need to internship for our graduation project. Most of the students got placed there with PPO. PPO rate was more than campus placements as of my calculations.
Placement Experience :
There are campus placements but those are not that high-end companies coming here. Usually, students go to campuses like Delhi Mumbai Chennai Hyderabad Kolkata to attend placement interviews. There were online interviews as well. But not a big thing happened this year in the department. The campus Placement rate was very low for the accessory design department.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fees increase every year. And is different for different centres and the fees are different for NRI students. As of 2022 for sem 3 and 4 . Ie. One year was 161650+142850= 304500. Where in each sem 142850 goes for tuition fees, 9400 for the library, Mediclaim - 4700, and exam fee 4700. Other than this hostel fees are separate. This is for non NRI students. If it's NRI seats then it varies from campus to campus. For Bhubaneswar in 2022 it was 698300 for the whole year 2022-2023. Which is double the fees of non-NRI students. This was for semesters 3 and 4. Now considering the last year( 4th year ) it's 173900+149700 = 323600. Or fee details. 2nd year - 304500 3rd year - 277500 4th year - 323600
Campus Life :
The campus is a well-spaced area. But there is no auditorium or public event space as such. There is an activity hall where small events are conducted and other big events are arranged outside that. There is a football ground basketball court and a garden with lots of flowers and trees. This campus is noted as a plastic-free campus. There will be cultural events happening now and then and other competitive events as well. One of those is converge. Different clubs give active participation in all events. Talking about the department there are classrooms other than that there is a wood lab a metal lab and a 3d printing and laser cutting room. There are pottery wheels and kilns as well. And computer lab. And there is a library. The girl's hostel is inside the campus compound only. There is no boy's hostel.

After completion of this course go for national health mission recruitment In odisha opsc amo exam conducted many students were passed the exam from our college and got posted. You can go for many pharmacy company 100 percent of students getting placement

There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.

for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.

Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.

It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.

Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.

Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .

The placement scenario is quite good as most of the students get placed before the completion of course with a decent package. Average package is around 8lpa and the highest package till now is 60+ lpa.

Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
