The only factor that made me choose this college was my bad percentile and nothing else otherwise I would have never selected this college... There was no GD or any entrance exam for admission to this college.. based upon your CET/JEE marks or any connection you can get admitted here.
The curriculum was completely outdated at my time although the faculty was very experienced they focused more on the theoretical part rather than the practical. I chose this field as my interest was in Robotics back then. Semester final exams were each 4-5 months apart and each sem had 2 Unit tests the difficulty level was easy if you have a good understanding of the subject.
No, I didn't opt for any internship within my college but I did 3 internships through LinkedIn references.. one at Nashik thermal power station and the other two at Small production companies in Vasai.
The most horrible and disgusting thing here is the placements.. only 2-3 companies came for the Mechanical branch and were offering salaries of 2.4LPA and less which was way too low given the industry standards. I don't remember the highest package within the mechanical branch but yeah in CS I heard someone secured a 10LPA job.
The total fee was 110k all-inclusive (tuition fees, admission fees, development and lab fees). I opted for the EBC scholarship under which I used to get a 50% refund of tuition fees. SC, ST, and PWD categories had very low fees under 5000 Rs.
Life at the campus was okayish for a shy guy like me but not that great.. one box cricket ground is there at the college. Ojus is the fest conducted here between Feb and March which is very nice given the college status. There are 3-4 sports groups contesting at the collegiate level (cricket, football, kabaddi etc)
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.
engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.

The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
