APSIT - The Most Underrated College in Mumbai
Remarks :
First time i heard about the college was when my MHT CET center was there. Then i liked the environment and campus of the college. Also the classrooms were nice. Then also the surrounding of the college is very nice. All the lectures are always on time and attendance is mandatory. Labs are full of computers and there is never an issue of lack of computers.
Course Curriculum Overview :
College is very good regarding curriculum academics. The faculties are very good as well and they follow the curriculum always. Extra lectures are taken as well if the syllabus does not complete due to some reasons. Labs are given the importance they deserve. Overall very good college experience.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Original Fees are around 15000. And I'm from SC category so my fees are around 2000 per semester. Some of my classmates pay around 70-80 thousand as well as 1 lac. The scholarship facilitiy is very good.
Campus Life :
The college festival called as "Ojus" is very beautiful and energetic and gives all the students a chance to come forward and express their talents. Library and canteen facilities are also very good. The overall college experience is wonderful.

Placement opportunities are not so widely discussed by our faculty. My plan after the program is to appear for ugc net exam and to become an assistant professor. The minimum salary for assistance professor post is approx 35000.
Symbiosis School of Economics
Placement Experience :
The number of companies coming for campus placements go down with each passing year. The companies that do come (TresVista mostly) are quite poor in terms of work ethic and payout methods. This year, around 40-45 students from the graduating batch got campus placement out of the 110-120 that applied.
