I actuallt discussed this with my friends this was not exactly the college i aimed for but i had to stick with it the facilties and the courses offered here werent bad it just has a bad name because of the location it is based on
The course cirriculum is basically mumbai university cirriculum which is very outdated to say the least but at least it covers the basics and the faculty makes sure to keep us updated with the updating technological trends i chose this course because of the current growing industry of AI the faculty here are mostly in their ongoing phds but are very qualified and semester exams are held twice a year and they are quite difficult focusing more on useless theory rather than the practical
Right now i havent opted for any internship as of now but i plan to gain internship as a full stack developer in python or an machine learning research internship i would love to take part in research.
I am not in my placement year yet to make a judgement but i shall say according to my seniors placements are a bit of an issue , very less are provided which are actually worthy enough to do so and the package oddered , to be eligible for placement you shall not take the preplacement training lightly should be good in academics , the highest package offered on campus was of 26 lakhs and the average package is about 7 to 8 lakhs per annum the percentage of students getting placed from college is very less only about 20 to 30 percent and my plan is to get a job either from placement or off campus
Okay so first of all for general category there is full fees of 136000 exam fees excluded which is 2500 per semester then there is for obc category which is for half the general category fees then for sc st the fees is negligible around 70 to 80 rupees
The campus and college life is mid at best with a mix of crowd coming into picture some very smart and bright people who are really fun to interact with , and many others who are somewhat not so bright but not so good to interact with too, there are many clubs in the college which are formed by students for learning in each field like AI, CYBERSECURITY etc sports and cultural fests are a big part of our college the only thing to look forward to throughout the year, the college supports it fully all the sports and even in outside tournaments.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.
engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.
there are lots of mnc company visted college every year, most of companies have there eligiblity criteria is 60% and above overall from 10th, the biggest tech companies like tcs, wipro, accenture, deloitte, infosys, the average package is around 3lpa, every year 50 to 70% students getting placed.
The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
The placement and job opportunities in college is good the MOU's signed by company are good almost 40-50% of college gets placement remaining go for off campus placements there are companies like TCS , Accenture etc
