- Air conditionered classrooms, lifesafer in summers.
- Proximity to metro and canteens. A blessing for the campus.
Dislikes
- The labs are not that good. Instruments are either missing or broken.
- Time table was very hectic. No space for personal growth in the first year.
Remarks :
I just have to appear for JEE mains. I got BTech CSE with 89k rank inside delhi. The best thing about the college is its connectivity and infrastructure. We got AC classrooms. The canteen is also decent. The con is the curriculum. Pretty outdated and old. Teaching irrelevant skill set without any industry standards. Most of the skills you have to learn yourself if you want to get a handsome salary else the placements are not that decent(on campus). For admission you have to take part in ipu counselling consisting of three rounds and spot rounds.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course, ofc because I am interested in tech. Tbh, thts the only thing I am good at. As I mentioned earlier the course curriculum is pretty outdated and old. For the current industry standards you have to learn things of your own. The faculty is pretty decent. You will get some good and bad teachers, but that doesn't matter. If you study regularly you will get marks. The new marks distribution by university wont let you fail unless you want to fail. Studying a week before examination can get you 8.5+ easily. There are basically two midterms now and an sem end exam. For internals the teacher will ask you to prepare presentation or they will conduct some quiz. The difficulty level of the exams are really easy, I mean really easy.
Internships Opportunities :
You have to apply for internships on linkedin, or any other platform. To apply for internship, atleast make a good resume and have some relevant skills. Be active on groups and on linkedin for opportunities.
Placement Experience :
Some companies will keep a CGPA cap for there interview process. Good for filtering out the crowd i guess. Microsoft had visited the campus and for mass hiring companies like TCS, Wipro, ZS associates are there.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Tuition fees/Academic fees - Rs. 1,32,900(for 23-27 batch) University fees - Rs. 20,000 student activity fees- Rs. 1,000 Alumni fees - Rs. 2,000 (only 1st year) Security deposit - Rs. 10,000 (only 1st year) Other development charges - Rs. 8000 (only 1st year) For this year the tuition fees - Rs. 1,39,500.
Campus Life :
Campus life is pretty good. I got pretty good classmates and seniors to spend time with. The only thing I disliked was the timetable, very hectic though in the second year it is better now. The library is decent, not very big but can provide you with books you need the most. Book bank option is also available. There are many sports in the campus including football, cricket, badminton, volleyball, basketball, etc and also indoor games are available. You can play the sports after 3 pm. Societies and clubs are there. Both tech and non tech. You can join them to learn different skills and for networking ofc.
Hostel Facilities :
The food quality is pretty decent. Variety of foods are available in the campus canteen. Only girls hostel is available and pg options are also there in close proximity. PG's are quite affordable but in a very poor conditions.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.

The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
