- The main thing is the metro station which is just outside the college gate.
- The campus life is also very good, the college also complies with anti ragging and anti fighting policies.
Dislikes
- The 75% attendance scenerio which kind of takes away students freedom of developing personal skills
- The campus is not that big which can be quite annoying in the cases if their is a large no. Of people gathered in a crowd
Remarks :
The main factor to choose this college is the metro station just outside the college gate which makes this college easier to travel for the students living far away. The admission process is really not that hard to get an admission in this college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is quite good and is same all over the colleges associated with the IPU university. The teachers in this college are also very nice and are always ready to help the students with their academics.
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria for placements depend on the companies which are hiring and can vary accordingly. Some companies hire the students having more than 80% CGPA. Some of the companies which has hired from our college are Wipro, GeekforGeek, Amazon, etc
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The total fees for all the semesters in B.Tech course is around 6 lakh to 7 lakhs. The fees for first year of degree is around 1.75 lakhs and for the second year is around 1.60 lakhs which keeps getting decreased throughout the years of study. For the ones seeking management quota in this college, this might be very expensive.
Campus Life :
Although the college campus is not that big, the campus life is still quite good. The college has an open canteen for the students to socialize ,also next to it is the music and sports room for the students to have some fun.

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
