Remarks :
I got into this college on this basis of jee mains cutoff. Also If you need good environment for studies and chill , this place is for you but for sports and other activities there are other options as well.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this college because of it's environment (chill and good for those who want their focus on studies) as well as their placement record (decent). Teaching faculty was also supportive and you will not find any difficulty while approaching them for your query. Also there were internal (30) and external (70) exam and you'll need 40/100 to get promoted.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
130000 yearly (117000 tution + 13000 other), it will remain same for you for other 3 years as well but for another person (who enrolled next year of your enrollment)the fee would be higher than this for him/her.
Campus Life :
Life at campus was great, there is anugoonj (fest) and other activities going time to time, I was not interested in that at all that is why do not know much about that. But for studies you have library( without any charge you can issue book but it is only for 21 days, do not worry you can reissue after that period)and book bank (first have to pay 4000 on first year and you will get books for 4 years but before issuing next semester books you'll need to return previous semester's books).
Hostel Facilities :
There is hostel only for girls and boys can find pg or room for rent. You will easily find your place nearby for rent. Also there is separate time for those who opt for mess food (day scholars can also apply for that). You will get good food (not top notch but it will fill your stomach). Last but not the least the canteen area is good so you will have the variety.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!

du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.

The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
