Likes
- The campus is huge and well maintained. It has huge grounds, parking area etc. The campus also has a gym in it.
- The library contains the prescribed textbooks and there is also a reference room where one can sit and study.
- The campus has all the requirements facilities like stationary shops, Xerox centres, canteen and cafes.
Dislikes
- The class timings may get bothersome sometimes and you have to maintain attendance above 85%, which may get annoying.
- The event( internals) schedules and timings may cause quite hindrance something.
Remarks :
I got admission through the KCET counseling.My rank was around 21000 and the cutoff for Electronics and Instrumentation was around 22000 in general category. During counseling I had read some reviews of the college and this college was on the top 10 colleges that I would opt to enter through KCET exam. One can get admission in the college through: 1. KCET exam for students in Karnataka after completing 12th. The cutoff is around 20000 rank ever year for general category in electronics and instrumentation branch. 2. Comed-k exam for students outside Karnataka. 3. Management seats for selected courses only.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I was interested in electronics so I opted this course. Each and every faculty is well trained and knowledgeable in their field . They help in the overall growth of the student. Each student is assigned a lecturer as a mentor ,who is given the responsibility to watch over the particular student. The course is of 4 years with 2 semesters each year. Each semester has 3 events(2 internal exams and 1 event i.e. assignment, mini project or test) and 1 SEE(semester end exam).
Placement Experience :
Students get eligible for placements in their 6th semester. More than 130 companies visit our college and some of the companies like Sandvine, infosys,etc visit us and the campus placements are good.The average package is around 7.5 lakhs.The highest package obtained is 32 lakhs till now.Most of the students get placed in our college.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees I paid in my first year was around ?65590, which includes the tution fees ?16500, university fees ?40590, examination fees ?4000 etc. In my second year the fees was ?60590 which includes the tution fees, examination fees and University fees. The third year fees will be same as the second year fees. The final year or the fourth year fees will be around ?70000 which includes the tution fees, examination fees, annual fee, university fee , sports fees etc. The college also has a scholarship cell which helps the student in need of any scholarship. My fees structure is that of a general category government aided seat.
Campus Life :
Jayciana is the annual fest of the college. It attracts students from all over India. It is generally conducted in the month of April. Library is functional during day time. Books related to course are present. Classes are equipped with black boards and some do have projectors also . There are many sports facilities like cricket ground , football ground, chess , TT ,Tennis GYMs and many more. There are various clubs both technical and cultural. The college also conducts annual interbranch and intercollege sports fests.

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.
