Dislikes
- Some Faculties are more concerned about maintaining 75 percent of attendance in semister
- Food in hostel is not very good and only vegetarian food are provided by the hostel.
Remarks :
I am willing to study engineering for prestigious colleges from Karnataka. SJCE JSSSTU stands among top colleges of Karnataka. I have secured CET engineering ranking of 3035. So it is possible to get aided seat in this college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum is better when compared to the VTU colleges in Karnataka. The syllabus of our college is more relevant to the industry requirement than the old syllabus and curriculum which is followed by the other colleges across the Karnataka. This is an autonomous college which stands out.
Internships Opportunities :
Internship is the basic things to get placed in the college placement. In our college the complition of 5th semester the internship opportunities are widely available though the campus placement cell. It is possible to get paid internship in the 3 rd year.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
In Sri Jayachandra College of Engineering Mysore Karnataka there are 3 types of seats basically government aided, government unaided and management. The fee structure for aided is about 55000 and for unaided is about 110000 and management is about 4 lakhs per Year.
Campus Life :
Colampus life is one of the best things in our college. The campus is about 120 acers of land in the heart of the Mysore city. The campus having all the facilities like playground,gym, arena, library, hostels and all the basic requirements for the students.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel is very good in our college and located inside campus having walkable distance from the classroom and campus. It is the one of the best things to do in the college to join the hostel. The food is average.but hostel is the best place.

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement

Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
