- I like that the college is working towards entrepreneurship ideas as well with the new program called SJCE-step
- The college conducts automobile expo and seminars and workshops inviting some of the most influential people
Dislikes
- The hostel management for girls is very poor in quality, hygiene and enjoyment
- There are no fests or events bringing the whole college together
Remarks :
The course of Bachelor's degree in Polymer science and technology and chemical technology is available only in this college in Karnataka and the faculty is very good, The safe environment for students travelling from far places and availablity of placements is high in this college
Course Curriculum Overview :
This course specific to chemical technology and I have interest in this subject, The faculties are highly experienced and have advance knowledge in the subject, they have masters degree from top colleges like IITs and NITs, the faculty makes sure to mentor and assist students regarding academic performance and maintain overall good results, the curriculum is set to a good level of hard, the exams are scheduled in a chill manner
Placement Experience :
There's a seperate section called placement cell and the management is taking care of the placement part, Our college is offered jobs by many companies like IBM, Mercedes Benz, the eligibility criteria is to have no backlogs during the requirement period and have IT related skills
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees given through government seat is around 70k in total, after seat allotment you have to pay KCET Rs.40,000(depends on the course you select as well as the category) and college collects tution fees of Rs.29,000, they college will deduct Rs.20k from consecutive years, and the scholarship initiated by government provides students with scholarship amount of 20,000 only
Campus Life :
There's only one fest that SJCE is famous for and it's JCiana which is supposed to go on once two years if someone invests, other than that there are no events or fests which brings the whole college together, there are clubs and club activities throughout the year, talking about the campus, it is huge and is green all around, it is well maintained and least polluted, college has given students access to campus cycles, digital library, reference section, and the books available in library are topic related, classrooms provided with a display screen and projector for more interactive sessions, there's a seperate section for NCC also, we have football teams, cricket, basketball teams as well, as for the clubs, it's mostly run by students only, we have dance clubs and clubs for aerospace topics, which is funded by the college for international trips
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel for boys is way better than it is for girls, for the most it is understandable that girls require safety more but the hostel management fails to provide good and hygiene food, doesn't let girls join clubs and restricts for everything, the fees they take is 89,000 because for 1st and 2nd year students the hostel is 5.4 kms away from the college, so the bus charge is taken, it is not affordable for many

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
BSc Physics at Jain University
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
