- I like the lush green campus of the college and also almost all the sports facility are available here.
- I also like the placememt oppotunities in the college which is better than other tier 3 colleges.
Dislikes
- I dont like the mess food and also hostel facilities here are below average.
- Also here we dont have a proper auditorium and even a night canteen.
Remarks :
I had taken the COMEDK exam and I got a 6747 rank according to which I searched for the best college for my rank and I got to know about this college. I got to know that this college has good placement, a lush green campus and the transportation is also very good and the weather of Mysore was a plus point for me to decide to come to this college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is based on outcome-based education from our batch i.e. batch of 2022 in which in each semester we have to give two internals exams and one event which makes up 40% of the total marks and the rest 60% is for the semester-end exam. Faculties here are mostly with M.tech degrees and some are with PhD degrees. They teach well and well other than a few faculties. The scholarship is available for SC/ST and girls students only. Tuition fees are around ?2.7L/year and Hostel fees are?85k in the first year and from 2nd year it is. 71600.
Placement Experience :
Placements are decent here, even in the time of recession 60-70% of students are getting placed. Average CTC:- 14LPA Median CTC:- 9LPA Highest CTC:- 52LPA Companies like Commvault, Siemens, Amagi, L&T Technologies, Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan, Deloitte, etc Also companies with fewer ctc like TCS, LG, Accenture, Infosys, Cognizant, etc Come here for campus placements.
Campus Life :
Campus life is decent here, we have sports facilities like football, hockey, cricket, table tennis, tennis, badminton and also we have a gym as well as a lush green campus of 100 acres. Also as the college is in Mysore there are many good places to visit with friends. There are 14 Clubs in clubs in the college Linux Campus Club, Computer Society of India, GDSC, IEEE, Balaga, AeroJC, Naada, Velocity, Gravity, etc. Infrastructure is average here as we don't have a proper auditorium and also some of the required things like the night canteen(although we have a good canteen but it closes by 10 pm).
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel Mess has decent food it provides healthy food but the taste is not so good, but they maintain hygiene well. We have 5 blocks and in each room, 3-4 sharing is available (only for 1st years few rooms have 4 sharing from 2nd year 3 sharing only) also students can apply for single sharing rooms which are in PG block and GH block but it depends on availability. We have to come to the hostel office which is located in front of the hostel mess, after getting the admission process done from the college and applying for the rooms.

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

Course Curriculum Overview :
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.

I got placed in a company called Glory Infinity Private Limited, there other offers from The math school infosys ultratech every student had multiple offers from company. Not A very high packages but good opportunities

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
BSc Physics at Jain University
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

Placement Experience :
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
