There are two steps to the admission. The first is a written test, followed by a personal interview, none of the procedures are too difficult to get through if you have been a good overall student. The reason for choosing the college was a triple major with Media, English and Psychology which allowed me to venture into more than one fields, all of which were of my interest but with the introduction of NEP, these triple major courses are no longer available.
The faculty for media department is quite nice and understanding, they are true mentors that guide a way, however, psychology department had their own rules which were quite concrete and not always went in hand with the students. Nevertheless, all of them are well versed with not only their subjects but also the advancements in the field and tend to bring all of that to their classes.
I had to go for masters after the program and thus did not sit for placements, however, I did an editorial for a news channel in my second year but that was through my own outside connection and was compulsory to be done.
There are many placements offered, however, they tend to be shared with a couple of other departments and it has happened that those particular companies prefer them over media students. There are very few or no media specific placements offered by the college and people do tend to apply through LinkedIn or any other such platforms.
Total fee- 3 lacs and there are no scholarships that are offered by the university . However, at the end of every academic year there comes a list of students with good CGPA and those tend to get some consession.
Life at the campus is the most fun of all, there is something going to every minute if every day. I was the head of a theatre club and it was almost every day that we were putting up performances not only in the university but in other cultural events outside the campus too.
I was not in a hostel as they are way stricter that any student would prefer, however the PGs around the campus are quite nice or there is always an option of moving into a small apartment either alone or with friends keeping in mind both the commute and the timings.
For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc, shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students
The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.
All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
