An Honest review about GGSIPU Btech courses in main campus
Likes
- The college is built over 118 acres which is pretty good. And the infrastructure is really great.
- There are many other courses that is being provided here in Main campus of GGSIPU and hence you can have a great social and campus life here.
Dislikes
- The classrooms do not have any digital boards such as they have in the newer colleges.
- Some of the faculty are bad here but it happens in every other college so not that much of a problem.
Remarks :
There is no interviews for the admission purpose, you have to apply through their site GGSIPU for year year. They use the score card of JEE mains for admission purposes, the percentile required is about 95 percentile for the home state students and 98 for the other state student. 80 % of the seats are reserved for home state candidates.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The faculty is quite support from the start of the 1st year, the seniors are really helpful as they provide the resourse for the exams which helps in boosting your cgpa, the circulum for the 1st year is near about the same for all college i.e., PCM with electrical, mechanics and indian Constitution.
Placement Experience :
There has been a placement cell established here to provide for the placement opportunity after the completion of course, for Intership they try to provide but overall you have to find the for your own during the summer internships and all, they provide leave if you get an on site Intership so we ain't need to worry about attendance and all.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For the first year, 146000, Thereafter 126000 with 9% increment in fees every year. That is the 2nd year fees is 126000 the 3rd year fees is 137400 and the 4th year fee is around 150000 so the fee for 4 years is about 6.5 lakhs
Campus Life :
The college all amenities such as a play ground, a library with all sorts of books from different courses, there are 4 canteen as well in the campus, the food provided is great. Overall the campus life is great here in USICT, GGSIPU. There are many clubs such as GDSC, AWS, IOSC for the tech; dance clubs, drama clubs for non tech.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college

Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.

The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
