Likes
- i like the accesibilty of things at my college there are stationary shops and hangout spots also then there is nescafe etc
- there is also mother dairy amul and other shops which makes it good and we can purchase any necessary things from there
Dislikes
- a slight disappointment in the college infrastructure is that Air conditioners are not available in all the classrooms they are only available in some of them ,mine being not one of them . and little bit disappointment because of malfunctioning of the college wifi
- the administration is not that punctual class not happens at the exact time it gets late mostly
Remarks :
i chose this because it was affordable for me , it was near to my house and i got to reduce my travelling time in metro. the faculty is also good and corporating .some of my senior friends also recommended me this college over other lower branches in nsit/dtu.
Course Curriculum Overview :
the course cirriculum is very good and apt which is the basic required for engineering student in a government institute.i have reviewed my syllabus and i am very happy to see how apt it is and how it align with my plans and subjects that i want to pursue in future
Internships Opportunities :
i am a second year student at USICT i have not yet enrolled or opted for any internship i am yet in my learning phase and would like to grab some good internship opportunities in my 5th semester onwards
Placement Experience :
the placement of the college and job oppurtunities are very good here. i myself being the training and placement cell is aware of the on ground stiuation of the colllege placement and internships opppurtunities, there are many good companies that visit to hire students on campus such as flipkart hike rapido, amazon etc.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
the yearly fee structure for my batch is 120000per annum. seeing the inflation there might be slight raise every year to the yearly college fees. yes there are also many scholarsips available which can be claimed by students or if they require any educational loan also
Campus Life :
since it is not just a college it is a government institution, there are many different courses available to pursure rather than just btech / mtech / mca. there are different courses such as BA,law ,MBA,B pharma etc. which helps the students to socialise in the different streams of students also which is overalll benificial for student
Hostel Facilities :
i am not a hostel student but my friends are in hostel they have a great experience as we get single rooms which are comfortable to live as we dont have to share it with someone else. the mess is also very good and timely

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
