- Infrastructure of AIIMS bilaspur is so elegant and amazing . It is very beautiful and its location between hills makes it too good. Which provides boost to its smdical life. Environment here is so nice and pollution free.
- It feels very calm here and provides eae for study and meditation. We have many students good at sports therefore we play along with study that keeps us depression free from mdical life
Dislikes
- 1) restrictions are there because it is new college 2) clinical exposure is less because it is new college 3)situated in small town
- Faculty is ok ,infact good . Campus life has restrictions . Also we cannot have vehicles permission here so we have to walk in campus .
Remarks :
I am very intersted in becoming orthopaediciannfrom beggining of my life. Therefore I wnat to pursue mbbs as my ug degree. For mbbs we have to give a basic neet ug examination conducted by nta every year . Exam is not so much difficult but nom of students appearing may make it difficult. I scored a rank of 28800 . And then we have to appear for counselling to avail different medical Colleges . This counselling is conducted by mcc every year. I preapred for these counselling by myself . I prepared many lists by searching online about colleges on various websites including zollege ,shiksha etc. then I filled my choice filling myself. And found a good college .my college AIIMS has many positive points such as 1)very beautiful campus 2)good connectivity to big citychandigarh 3)vey experienced staff,technician 4)location himachal pradesh makes it boost some bad points also 1) small town 2) new college therefore less clinical exposure. 3) many restrictions like vehicles not allowed
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose mbbs because it was my passion from childhood as I wanted to become an orthopedic doctor .I chose AIIMS bilaspur bec. Firstly I want admission in AIIMS colleges as they are top medical college also they provide u AIIMS tag .and then according to my rank and college life I preferred AIIMS bilaspur. Our faculty is excellent most of them have done mbbs ,md/ms ,dm and other fellowship program from foreign . Their teaching method are also excellent. However some department like biochemistry have proff. Who have pursued bsc,msc etc. also mbbs is a degree in which students have to study by themselves therefore faculty has not much an important role.in AIIMS we have end term examination after 6months then mid term afy3months and at last pre proff and proffesional examination.they are not much difficult if we are studying . However its difficulty level depends on the iq level of batch also. I have passed my 1st year without any supply or detention. Clinical skills are more prefer.
Internships Opportunities :
We have a compulsory intershiof 1 year in AIIMS campus itself . AIIMS provide a stipend of 30000 per month during internship.however it donot confirms any placement.internship is compulsory. Stipend may also increase in proceeding years.
Placement Experience :
There are no placements provided by AIIMS. They only give 1year of internship for enhancing your clinical skills.with a stipend of 30000 per month .however they provide you a tag of AIIMS which will help us with in our life interviews and other exams . My plans after doing mbbs is to pursue md orthopedics. However there are many options after ug degree such as md/ms ,upsc cms,medical officer in state,non academic junior resident etc. as I know we can get an average salary of 80k to 1 lac per month after joining any of the above mentioned. Course.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
In india aiims college provide a total fee structure of 5856/- only for 5 years . This is the only fees we have to pay on AIIMS . It includes everything ime. Hostel ,gym, reg. Fees etc. howeverr during proff exam they may charge a fee of 500 per subject every proff exam . There is no lab fees . Also there is no discrimination between fees with reservation it is same for all as it is very minimal fess. I think no other college provide less than it in our India. About scholarship there is not as such scholarship provided by college . However student belonging to economically weaker section (ews) may avail many scholarships like ONGC, buddy for study ,aimset etc. Students belonging to other caste may also avail scholarship online .this information is also informed to students by some respective departments i.e. it department . Scholarship may range from 5856 to 2 lakh even. For continuing this scholarship students must score greater than 60 percent marks in each proffesional examination.
Campus Life :
Life at campus is beautiful but is also include some restriction. We have our college fest named SYNECHIAE . It is scheduled at November month every year. It includes dj nights and many other extra curricular activities and sports making our tough medical life enjoying for some days . About sports and extra curricular we have football ground,tennis table ,gym in respective hostel. We also have basketball court in our campus and lawn tennis court. Extra curricular include dj nights various competitions at festivals . Students may also participate in different quiz conducted in various medical colleges. As our college is new therefore we have recently built a new library.it initially have only few basic books of every subject however it will update soon and also will be established online too. There are Instagram handles of AIIMS bilaspur officially and of students also. They also run quora websites facebook and other channels at you tube also . students can get updated by our college
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel as well as student mess are compulsory for mbbs course in AIIMS bilaspur. Hostel fee are 100/-rupees only that is already included in 5856/-of complete fees. Hostel named aa ug boys hostel provide a double sharing roomincluding common bathrooms . Each student has 1 bed 1 study table and chair 1 almirah provided in good quality by AIIMS only. As it is compulsory therefore no pg or room can be rented as it is against permissions. We have to apply for hostel during 2nd round of neet ug counselling. If we have to rent any pg or room during suspension or parents visit it is easily found in hotels near by our campus. About mess we have 2student mess named dining block A and B . They are compulsory for each student with mess fess of 3500 per month.thwy provide us with breakfast,lunch, snacks and dinner . Quality of food is ok ok. As it is same story of every campus . Food for such large no. Of students can be made as such only. However committees are trying of improving food quality.
