₹ 1,787Like I already said , teachers here are mostly from the prestigious institutes like AIIMS Delhi and pgi Chandigarh, so quality of study here is not matchable with any other state institutes. Strict system of study and attendance is followed here. There are classes and clinical postings starting from morning 8 to 4 in evening. Exams here are conducted strictly with less chances of any cheating. Exams are held regularly after 1-2 months which are more than normal medical colleges . Difficulty level of the exams were more than expected and it's also strictly checked making it very difficult to pass.
After doing mbbs from AIIMS there is additional respect and preference given to the individual throughout the country. One can work as mbbs doctor in our own college with 50% reservation who has a salary of 90,000 per month.
Read Full ReviewMBBS degree is for 4.5 years which is quite a long time but it to become a doctor . We have three subjects in 1st year 4 subjects in 2nd year three subjects in 3rd year and four subjects in final year with the total of 19 subjects overall. Faculty is not so good but who cares you have to study by yourself. Exam here are quite difficult.
There are no placements in any medical college all over India including the AIIMS but we have to do internship for 10 to 12 months with the stipend of 30000 per month. There is a 50% reservation quota for post graduation in the same college
Read Full ReviewI cleared jee as well as neet at same time but due to parents i joined mbbs at aiims bilaspur . Qualification of faculty varies acc. To subject however most of them have done mbbs then md/ms and various fellowship programmes and some professors have also done bsc and msc . The teaching faculty is very good and experienced. However we have to study by ourselves only. Exams are scheduled as 1 end term then 1 mid term then pre proff and proff examination. Difficulty level varies acc. To batch .
Aiims provide no placement .they just provide us a ug degree . However we have many opportunities aftee ug degree including md/ms, nonacad jr , upsc cms and medical officer etc. As my plan i have thought od doing derma ms or upsc cms .however my plan may change as i further proceed in this course.
Read Full ReviewI chose mbbs because it was my passion from childhood as I wanted to become an orthopedic doctor .I chose AIIMS bilaspur bec. Firstly I want admission in AIIMS colleges as they are top medical college also they provide u AIIMS tag .and then according to my rank and college life I preferred AIIMS bilaspur. Our faculty is excellent most of them have done mbbs ,md/ms ,dm and other fellowship program from foreign . Their teaching method are also excellent. However some department like biochemistry have proff. Who have pursued bsc,msc etc. also mbbs is a degree in which students have to study by themselves therefore faculty has not much an important role.in AIIMS we have end term examination after 6months then mid term afy3months and at last pre proff and proffesional examination.they are not much difficult if we are studying . However its difficulty level depends on the iq level of batch also. I have passed my 1st year without any supply or detention. Clinical skills are more prefer.
There are no placements provided by AIIMS. They only give 1year of internship for enhancing your clinical skills.with a stipend of 30000 per month .however they provide you a tag of AIIMS which will help us with in our life interviews and other exams . My plans after doing mbbs is to pursue md orthopedics. However there are many options after ug degree such as md/ms ,upsc cms, medical officer in state, non academic junior resident etc. as I know we can get an average salary of 80k to 1 lac per month after joining any of the above mentioned. Course.
