- Green campus of this college is like heaven on earth
- Amount of seriousness and discipline associated with studies is unbelievable.
Dislikes
- Location far from main city which make it difficult to go to City as we are not allowed to keep personal vehicles.
- Study is too cumbersome and level of difficulty of exams is much more than other colleges.
Remarks :
Major factor to choose this college was it's affordability and it's brand like AIIMS is a brand in medical field. For admission we have to score a good rank ( better than 2500 all India rank ) in NEET examination. Good aspects - campus is really good. Situated in the hills of himachal pradesh it's the best environment that someone can get in any medical college. Apart from that faculty here is mostly from AIIMS Delhi and pgi Chandigarh so best quality of study is available. Apart from that college receives high funds from the government that's why extracurricular activities are also great here. Only bad aspect I can see is that it is 13 km far from the main city and you have to take 30 min to reach there. Moreover personal vehicles are not allowed for the students. Although college bus is available to go to City. But it has a plus point that it is close to one of the best city of India ie Chandigarh.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Like I already said , teachers here are mostly from the prestigious institutes like AIIMS Delhi and pgi Chandigarh, so quality of study here is not matchable with any other state institutes. Strict system of study and attendance is followed here. There are classes and clinical postings starting from morning 8 to 4 in evening. Exams here are conducted strictly with less chances of any cheating. Exams are held regularly after 1-2 months which are more than normal medical colleges . Difficulty level of the exams were more than expected and it's also strictly checked making it very difficult to pass.
Placement Experience :
After doing mbbs from AIIMS there is additional respect and preference given to the individual throughout the country. One can work as mbbs doctor in our own college with 50% reservation who has a salary of 90,000 per month.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Including every type of fee like tution, admission, lab and every miscellaneous fee it is only 5756 for full course of 5 years. It also includes hostel and electricity fees. So it's basically free to study and live here. We only need to pay for mess that is 4200 per month . Scholarship are also available for backward classes and ews class upto 90000 per year
Campus Life :
Our college conducts intercollege fest named Synechiae in November month of year. It was our first intercollege fest this year which was a huge success. Library is well maintained in college but books are only available in the department. Mostly library is used by students for self study. Almost every type of sport is being played currently in our college except from swimming, golf etc. There is well maintained football ground, basketball ground and badminton court. Development in sports sector is under process and more complexes are yet to be made. College is socially active on instagram as there are pages for fest and college named Synechiae. There are few channels on YouTube maintained by students on YouTube like inside AIIMS, Medical world etc
Hostel Facilities :
Hostels are compulsory for every student. Registration is done along with admission in college. Hostel fee is almost nill since 120 per year is nothing as compared to outside rates. Hostels have double sharing rooms with common washrooms and they are of good quality. Regular cleaning is done of hostels by the hostel management team.

Placements are decent. Eligibility is typically at CGPA 6.0 or higher. Recruiters include TCS, Infosys ,Oracle, Wellsfargo etc.Highest package this year reached around 3 crores per annum as it was a foreign offer.

placement are good many cse students have package in crores i think cse nad ece branch is good but other branch package is around 10 lakh if i would suggest students i suggest go for cse or ece branch because in the era of artificial intelligence nad machine learning these two branches are booming and the package are also best in these branches you can also try for gate exam after the civil mechanical or electrical you can get jib in public plus private jobs
