I found this college from one of my friends, you can enroll in this college through TUEE and CUET for UG and PG programs, Good Aspects of this college is One of the Central University in North-East, 2. Fees is less as compared to the infrastructure, 3. Students can gain Practical knowledge about anything. 4. Environment also good including sports, fests, Events etc, Placements Now bad aspects of this college is:- 1. They will encourage you to do PHD or research, 2. Every month there will be Exams, 3. Competition in getting admission.
I choose this course because the course provide practical and skillfull Knowledge. Also the University enviornment is best among all universities in Assam, It has NAAC rank of 69 in all over India. Faculty Qualification is very High , most of the professors are well educated and from Top colleges from India. Some of them are also contributed in development of some real world research. exams are conducted Mainly Four Times. 1st sessional exam of 25 marks , Midterm of 40 marks, 2nd sessional of 25 marks(maybe of assignment), then endterm of 60 marks. all exams are important to get Good CGPA.
For the Internship , you can ask your faculty members or from University Trainig and placement cell. Often when new internships arrives training and placement cell will send email to everyone. you can apply from there Or you can manualy look for internships online.
Palcements are come frequently but, only a few students are get placed . you also need to apply in off campus. in on campus comapanies like- infosys,TCS,TATA,OIL,IOCL,Cognigent etc are offers palcements. highest packages are upto 25LPA , lowest is 3 LPA, Average is 4-5 LPA. in Each department 10-20% are placed in On-campus, 20-30% are placed in Off-campus, 10-20% are pursue higher studies.

Life in the Campus is very Lively, At the beginning of the new admission in August, Orientations are done in individual departments, also a general freshers also conducted in the university ground. where you can meet all the students in the university, Different fest also conducted Here time to time. Sports such as football, cricket, basketball, vollyball, and indoor games like table tennis, badminton etc all are played in the campus. there is a gym also. you can even see social groups in the Community Hall in the evening. University wensite is very big, from hostels to departments, Students to Faculty, admission process notifiactions Every information well updated
Food Quality is average, not so good not so bad, but sometimes events conducted in hostels where they provide good quality food. Registration process is done during admission. It has 7 Boys and 9 girls hostels you will get allocated any one of the hostels. hostels have 2 seater,3 seater, and dorms in it. If you not get allocated in one of the hostels. you will easily get any PG,s and rooms near the university
Good-moderate faculty but maintenance of every other thing is very much not on time The authority doesn’t seem to be concerned about the students and delays every work and at the last moment you will be running around .
While the college does not guarantee 100% corporate placement, it facilitates campus interviews and internships. Companies like Amazon, Flipkart, and Tata have rec recruited or offered internships to a percentage of students.
There are teachers under which u can work and later they can surely help u land a intership, happened with one of my friend. But as of now department dont directly provide u internship. I dont wanna say vague or old numbers about average or highest placement data, so wont comment on it but overall its not that great but there are exceptions, like there are some brilliant minds who lands an enormous off campus placement.(My 2 seniors who r out of india right now) Last year Bharat electronics BHEL came and took 8 seniors for 13lpa package, some banking companies and TCs comes too. My plans after my degree is to get a job in electronic domain while also focusing on my photography and editing Passion Check my work on insta sodaa.edits
Placements At B. Borooah College for a BSc Forget it. There's no placement scene like you hear about. No companies come for recruitment drives. The so-called placement cell just puts up notices for government job ads or maybe a local pharmacy needing a helper. I've never seen a single big name visit campus to hire BSc grads. So there's no list of recruiters, no number of offers, and definitely no talk of high packages. Zero students get placed from here in that way. The plan after the degree is everything. For me, it's going for an MSc. For others, it's preparing for government exams, doing B.Ed., or applying to labs and hospitals directly. This college gives you the valid degree, the ticket to sit for other exams or apply further. It doesn't get you a job. It makes you eligible to go find one yourself. Your future is 100% in your own hands after you walk out.
There are 100% internship in Bsc agriculture are also good the average packages 3 to 4 LPA the highest package is 12 LPA percentage of students getting placements are about 70 - 80% the eligibility criteria depends upon the performance of the student on its practical work and its CGPA
The ratio of placement and job is very poor, this is a college of general degree course, so after passing B.Sc., B.Sc. one does not get a job directly, in future one has to do Masters degree, PhD.But data from the last three/four year revealed that students did get jobs in SBI and some other organization, but the percentage was very low. That is why most of the students after completing normal graduation take admission in courses like Masters and BEd, Deled. And my plan in future is to do Masters from IIT or IISER, after that I want to do PhD.
I forever had a dream of starting a business by myself as I come from a business background I also wanted to help my father in his work , I wanted to grow my father's business by just putting technical efforts so this is the reason I chooses commerce Teachers are of very friendly nature and helpful If you attend regular college you won't face any difficulties in exams
there is a CPI criteria of around 6 to sit for placements. The highest packages for bachelors can go up to 1.5cr. Companies in coding include Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Ola, Uber, finance companies like JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs and many more. Highest paying companies are AlphaGrep, Quadeye, JaneStreet but that is very competitive with only people with the best results and from CS getting in. Many people also receive preplacement offers after internships. There are also many companies that visit for product management roles like Ola, Meesho etc. The placement process for Design students is separate. There are also core companies like Texas instruments, that visit.
You must get more than 7 CGPA to sit in the placement. TCS, L&T, Jacobs etc and the highest package is around 21 LPA around 15% are placed every year.Iwill be doing PHd in IIT after getting my degree.
I choose this course because I am interested in learning coding and I want to seek my future in this line. I am finding some difficulties in understanding the subjects and topics but I believe it is because I am new to this field and new to everything.
