- Our university have all the facitilies that a government institute must provide. Toilets for girls and boys in each floor, elevator, good classrooms, spacious buildings. Artistic corners, cafe's and kanteens. The campus life is fun every student comes up with different experiences.
Remarks :
Our university provides a very rich atmosphere of culture. Each and every student has it's own way to express their art. And that is the most attractive thing. The universe provides good faculty staff which is very helpful for the students. To get into our university one must score well in their 12th boards as well as have to pass cuet ug exam. For post graduation students must apply after passing their cuet pg exam.
Course Curriculum Overview :
This course is a multidisciplinary course. It has all aspects of social sciences. The teaching staff is very good. They have ample amount of knowledge in the topics, and they have are keen in doing interactive sessions in order to have a very interesting teaching experience. There are two exams each semester. First, mid term which is of 30 marks and then finals which is of 70 marks. Along with that there might be practicals and field works. Exams are on an average quite difficult but if one studies the given topics they'll definitely score well.
Placement Experience :
We have a placement cell which provides various opportunities for students. Internships are available, students get monthly updates for internships. My plans after graduation would be that I'll opt for masters.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The admission fees ranges from 6800 to 7000. And then for renewal it costs 4000. There are multiple scholarship available such as fee waiver which allows students to make free admission for the whole course. Then scholarships like ishan uday, nijout moina etc also awards students with a good amount of money.
Campus Life :
There are various events that happens in the university such as moupiya, navya and then freshers various bihu programmes. Bhouna and theatre etc. The library is full of all the topic related books. It's a two storey building with large rooms. The campus has an outdoor stadium, and indoor stadium where all the students can be fit. The student has a basketball court and a gym too. There are very ncc and nss groups for social services.

Good-moderate faculty but maintenance of every other thing is very much not on time The authority doesn’t seem to be concerned about the students and delays every work and at the last moment you will be running around .

While the college does not guarantee 100% corporate placement, it facilitates campus interviews and internships. Companies like Amazon, Flipkart, and Tata have rec recruited or offered internships to a percentage of students.
Dream Campus, Not-So-Dream Jobs
Placement Experience :
There are teachers under which u can work and later they can surely help u land a intership, happened with one of my friend. But as of now department dont directly provide u internship. I dont wanna say vague or old numbers about average or highest placement data, so wont comment on it but overall its not that great but there are exceptions, like there are some brilliant minds who lands an enormous off campus placement.(My 2 seniors who r out of india right now) Last year Bharat electronics BHEL came and took 8 seniors for 13lpa package, some banking companies and TCs comes too. My plans after my degree is to get a job in electronic domain while also focusing on my photography and editing Passion Check my work on insta sodaa.edits
My life in B.Borooah College as a science student
Placement Experience :
Placements At B. Borooah College for a BSc Forget it. There's no placement scene like you hear about. No companies come for recruitment drives. The so-called placement cell just puts up notices for government job ads or maybe a local pharmacy needing a helper. I've never seen a single big name visit campus to hire BSc grads. So there's no list of recruiters, no number of offers, and definitely no talk of high packages. Zero students get placed from here in that way. The plan after the degree is everything. For me, it's going for an MSc. For others, it's preparing for government exams, doing B.Ed., or applying to labs and hospitals directly. This college gives you the valid degree, the ticket to sit for other exams or apply further. It doesn't get you a job. It makes you eligible to go find one yourself. Your future is 100% in your own hands after you walk out.

There are 100% internship in Bsc agriculture are also good the average packages 3 to 4 LPA the highest package is 12 LPA percentage of students getting placements are about 70 - 80% the eligibility criteria depends upon the performance of the student on its practical work and its CGPA

The ratio of placement and job is very poor, this is a college of general degree course, so after passing B.Sc., B.Sc. one does not get a job directly, in future one has to do Masters degree, PhD.But data from the last three/four year revealed that students did get jobs in SBI and some other organization, but the percentage was very low.That is why most of the students after completing normal graduation take admission in courses like Masters and BEd, Deled.And my plan in future is to do Masters from IIT or IISER, after that I want to do PhD.

Life as a BTech Student at IIT guwahati
Placement Experience :
there is a CPI criteria of around 6 to sit for placements. The highest packages for bachelors can go up to 1.5cr. Companies in coding include Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Ola, Uber, finance companies like JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs and many more. Highest paying companies are AlphaGrep, Quadeye, JaneStreet but that is very competitive with only people with the best results and from CS getting in. Many people also receive preplacement offers after internships. There are also many companies that visit for product management roles like Ola, Meesho etc. The placement process for Design students is separate. There are also core companies like Texas instruments, that visit.

I choose this course because I am interested in learning coding and I want to seek my future in this line. I am finding some difficulties in understanding the subjects and topics but I believe it is because I am new to this field and new to everything.
