So i got admission on the basis of clat score so one can get admission after attempting clat . The admission process was so smooth that i got admission very easily as the faculty was very helpful. I chose this college as my home is very near from college and its very handy for me to travel daily hardly 15-16 km from my home so main purpose was daily travelling but after admission I found the facility very helpful too.
So talking about academics and faculties, the faculty is super sweet and helpful (not 1-2 faculty jinke names i cant disclose for obvious reasons) apart from them every faculty puts there heart in teaching and very helpful too like I casually go to my faculty for Xyz reasons and they always show me right path in every aspect of life. Internal exams are moderate and externals are lil tough. College is mainly focus on academics and other activities like moot court and debates competition etc.
So i got internship in a law firm (name can’t disclose ) so the internship was like a roller coaster and i learned many new things on my internship. The placement society helped me getting into tier2 firm very easily .
So the placement society plays a vital role here. The placement society helps students to get internship as well as placement in good lawfirms and corporate sectors too. Some of the recruiters are khurana and khurana and cca etc
My yearly fees is 91,400 which is quite affordable in comparison to other law colleges. At the time of admission i paid 5000 security amount which is refundable after graduation and some other minimal admission charges. There is also scholarship program for students who belong to ews category and names of the students who get scholarships are private and they don’t disclose as it may lead to friendly banters. Anyone can apply for scholarships but must have required documents.
So the campus is not that big of our college which is the sad part but apart from that i would rate my social life 8/10 as different societies and clubs played a major role in interacting with new people. There are every club and society be it in academics or any other field like dance club, drama society, eco club , photography club, sports club placement cell etc
College doesn’t have own hostels but there are n number of options for pg and flats nearby the campus which is affordable as well as nearby too like there is this place called laxmi nagar which is hub for pg and flats.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
