My main reason for selecting this college was that it was convenient for me to reach as it is just a walk away from my house. I had to take the Common Entrance Test(CET) conducted by IP University. In the seat allotment process conducted by IP University. I got this collage.
I selected BCA because I had an interest in IT and I come from a commerce background so BCA seemed to be a good option straightaway. The curriculum is very old and won't make you good enough to stand in the current IT world. Most of the faculties are egoistic and partial. Very few are good. The exams have a time gap of 3 months. The exams are above average in terms of difficulty level. The cost of this course is around Rs.3,50,000 and 1,15,000 is a fee for one year. The course is just announced so you can't say about fees hike right now.
No, I have mentioned earlier the course has been just announced. So, there is no idea about the Internship and Placement opportunities. Just to be clear there won't be any big companies like FAANG or Infosys even if placement is provided.
The course is just announced in this college so you have no idea whether there will be placements or not. I am working on my skills and mostly looking on platforms like Linkedin, and Internshala for opportunities. I would plan to land a job for some months after BCA and then pursue MCA.
There is a sports day and an annual function every year. Sports day is scheduled in December and the Annual Function is scheduled in March. All kinds of books and journals are available in the library and are easily accessible. All kinds of sports are available and you can use them within the campus. There are different clubs for different courses that schedule different events and industrial visits.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
