After 12th I gave various entrance exams for various colleges like DU, GGSIPU, Jamia University etc. But out of all of those I feel like it was good for my career that's why I joined. I want to do BBA but my rank was not so great hence I got this option. I got selected on the basis of rank in cutoffs. I have given written test to qualifying into this college. I read some competitive exams books before giving this test.
Teachers were well mannered, fully qualified. They are super friendly. However the exams are little bit hard to crack. I worked very hard on my academics to get good marks. Teachers were modern so not that much struggle to get along with them.
Yes I opted for Summer Internship with Sharekhan. There were many companies came to offer internship like Sunlife, Bajaj, etc. In my internship I made a project on Mutual Funds. Along with project I learned how to invest in mutual funds to secure my future.
In that collegtce students needs atleast 50% marks to qualify for placements. In my last year Few big companies came like Accenture, Sharekhan etc. Since this was not and IT College so offers are within range. They offers between 2 LPA to 6 LPA. around 50-60 % students got placement. But I choose to search job off campus. I always wanted to work for MNC as a business analyst so thats where i am currently.
Per Year I paid around 80-85 thousand approx. Admission fees, registration fee and other type of charges was around 25000 approx. There was also scholarships available for top students was around 50% of tution fees. For management quotas, I heard they will take 5 Lakhs approx. Its pretty much same today as compared to few years back.
In that college there aren't many fest going on atleast when I was available. In library only business magazines and business books were available. There was no proper ground so not much scope in sports except some indoor games like carrom, chess.
Hostel was not that great. Fees were high in comparision to services. Food quality was also not that good. There give only Veg foods. Only 1 day a week they make non veg. Also I hate rice but there didn't put any choice in menu.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
