Admission to this college can be taken through the CLAT entrance test for law, apart from this there is no other written or screening test. Cut-off is no big deal to get this college. In CLAT approximately 70-80k students appear out of which students having 30-40k rank easily get admission in IIMT. After taking the CLAT one has to fill GGSIPU admission form for BALLB which evaluates CLAT marks for admission.
BALLB is an integrated course. So for the first 2 years, one has to deal with BA subjects along with law subjects. There are 10 semesters i.e. 5 years. In each semester there are 5 subjects one has to study apart from the last semester, in that one has to do 6 months internship and maintain a diary of cases. After each semester there is an internal exam first, and after that end semester external exam. Both exams are easy and one doesn't have to take any pressure. Just a simple understanding of concepts is enough. Most of the faculty is highly qualified, most importantly they are understanding and helpful. The syllabus is relevant and easy to handle.
I have opted for only one internship under a SC lawyer(AOR). Courtroom experience, arguments, drafting, research work, cross-examine, and many more are the aspects one may learn about during that internship. A stipend of around 3k to 5k may be provided.
Not aware about the placement jobs that much. But have heard that if one h a good CV then placement is good for them i.e. 720k p.a. But if the CV is not good then it can be as low as 250k p.a. Though internship opportunities provided by placement and internship cell are a good deal. Top firms and advocates approach intern that provides a classic experience for oneself.
The campus is small. There is only a single 5-storey building standing, surrounded by a very small area. There is no ground, park, etc for free moving. One can't bunk lectures even as everyone is visible from the building. Though the campus is small it does not lack in facilities. Ac rooms, drinking water, comfortable desks, play area, moot courts, library, play area(small of course), clubs, groups etc. The library is full of relevant research material both offline and online. Social clubs for every individual are there whose heads are students along with teachers. Many activities such as drama, debates, GDs, Moot courts, trial advocacy etc are conducted by these clubs.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
