Remarks :
I choose this college because which subject I'm choosing to do my master degree that journalism and mass communication, in that subject there are full facilities strength, the faculty are well educated, also for taking admission into the college there is a common entrance test which held every year by the Higher education department name called CPET common pg entrance test , if you get a good rank in that examination then you get a good seat in the prestigious university or colleges your rank is very crucial to taking admission, there are no interview or group discussion helld for the admission process, For the entrance examination preparation there is lot of free study material video you found on YouTube one of best channel I'm following when I' was preparing for the examination that is @Study Circle Odisha YouTube channel
Course Curriculum Overview :
Courses corricullum is very well and good , I'm choosing this course because the course provides a vast scope of area for the carrier settlement, qualification of the faculties are very good like all the facilities have a qualification of PhD and also net jrf qualify holders There are total 4 semester and 4 internal examination in the whole two years exam are held the gap between 3-4 months
Internships Opportunities :
Yes I'm was gone for a one months internship program which was in our course work section for this I'm choosing the orrisadairy organisation which was a webportal they publish news and events article, I join as a content writer at this organisation for a period of 1 months This internship was a non paid internship
Placement Experience :
One of bad thing in this college is there is less opportunities for the placement, only there are two to three department every year they get a opportunity to get a job opportunity placement,, for other departments it is very hard to Getting a opportunity to select a placement
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
In my master degree the course fees and admission fee's is very affordable in first year the course and admission fees is just 4750 rupess and in second year it was just 1133 rupees , yes there is scholarship facilities provided by the government, there are two scholarship for postgraduate department one is state portal scholarship and second is e medhabruty scholarship but condition is who avail the state portal scholarship he or she can not avail the e medhabruty scholarship
Campus Life :
There are various fest held and celebrated every in the university some examples are the university celebrates holy divas dipabali day and also celebrated the Sambalpuri day, There is a central library in the middle of the university campus, name called rp padhy library in this library there are something lakhs of books and free journals are available And there are thousands of articles and journal are available in the university website which are open for all There is sports council in the university campus which encourages the youth for participating sports the council mange all the sporting activities and tournament There is a students union called students Home which are running by students themselves
Hostel Facilities :
Food quality of hostel is not good because the hostel mess is running by the private catering services, you get different menu but the quality and test of the food is very bad There is a process to apply the hostel at the time of admission into the college there is a option you have to apply for the hostel , the hostel allotted list is depend on your rank , there are 15 hostel in the university 8 is for girl's and 7 is for boys Yes there is also room rent facility in the near University area name of the locality like korapali, monarch, jagannath vihar

After completion of this course go for national health mission recruitment In odisha opsc amo exam conducted many students were passed the exam from our college and got posted. You can go for many pharmacy company 100 percent of students getting placement

There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.

for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.

Placement Experience :
Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.

It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.

Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.

Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .

The placement scenario is quite good as most of the students get placed before the completion of course with a decent package. Average package is around 8lpa and the highest package till now is 60+ lpa.

Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
