There is one entrance exam for MCA MBA courses. And if we qualify this exam, we can take admission is college. And if we do not give the entrance exam , you have to take admission through management quota and the fees is much more of management quota. Cut off of entrance exam is according to category. Cut off for open category is high.
Speaking about the course curriculum , I choose MCA course because I did bachelor's degree in computer science and I want to career in IT field only. Now speaking about staff , the staff is genuinely good. They are very helpful and supportive to every student. There are 4 semesters in two years. University exams are much harder but teacher teaches very well. And staff completes 80-85% syllabus.
I have not opted for any internship but after second year I'm sured to get internship or job. I have done projects like mario run in python language, Library management system in Java language and many more projects and certifications like python , Java , cloud ,etc.
Speaking about placement and internships , placement is average for this college and highest package is 10-15lacs and lowest package is 3-4lacs. Eligibility criteria for placement is depending on companies. So some companies says no active backlog, some says 60% throughout criteria. 60-70% students placed during academics. Companies like Accenture, Capgemini, Wipro, TCS etc
Yearly fee of my college is 84000 and for OBC ,EWS candidate, the fees is 48000 and many scholerships are available for different categories. There is scholership for hostel students like panjaorao Deshmukh , EBC scholership, etc
College campus is too big. There is greenery everywhere. Also neat and clean campus. Big ground is also there for sports and other activities. And infrastructure is also good , simple. Labs are very near and clean. Classrooms are big and clean. And College library is too big and neat. Many students do study in library peacefully. Every book is available in library. There are 2-3 canteens available in campus. And canteen food taste is too much better. And every year campus arranges the gathering , sports , fashion show , days like Bollywood day , traditional day , etc. so all over campus is best.
Both hostels are very big (girls and boys ). Very clean and all facilities are available in hostels like water , light , food , etc . Food of hostel is better and affordable. If you have to take admission in hostel, you have to pay the yearly fees and fee is affordable for every student. There is security for hostels. And hostel Life is best than rented rooms or pgs.
The placements & job opportunities in the campus placements is good in our college like honestly it is good and also it is reason for students to take admission because there are many company coming to college. The average package is around i will say is 4.5lpa of all branches and here ENTC and MECHANICAL branch have more than 96% placement rate The highest package is of 22lpa which was from CS. The ground reality the percentage of students placed from this college is around 70% like the core branches students have higher placement rates and technincal branches placement rate is of around 70%-80% the core branches students also gets placed in tech. The main recruiters are TCS,ESDS,WIPRO,TECH MAHINDRA,INFOSYS,L&T and more. NVIDIA was also there but last year they banned the college because some students cheated in online interview.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
